We loved being so close to the town, booths supermarket round the corner, we used it like a larder, in every day! The house was warm, welcoming, and comfortable. Everything we needed. Being able to walk to the lake or hills from the door a big bonus.

This cottage was the most amazing find in keswick.. we have stopped in Kewick many times but first time at Roslea and we will choose to stay here going forward. The place had a lovley modern feel but still maintained the cottage look. The cottage has been done to the highest standards and feels very homely. The map wallpaper is an excellent idea as it helps plan out your time of where you can go whilst in the lakes. The cottage is in the heart of the town, just a small stroll into the market place to find all the lovely shops and resteraunts. Amazing sums it up . The Kelly,s

Very central but quiet location just up the road from all the pubs and shops.. The cottage is beautifully furnished with a luxury kitchen and bathrooms. The garden has a nice private sunny area for sitting out. Free parking in the road is usually ok and we didn’t have any problems. We didn’t need the car much as there a lovely walks from the door. I would definitely recommend this cottage for a holiday in Keswick. Also The Wainwright pub and Skiddaw Hotel restaurant and the chippy at the end of the street. We went to the theatre which was very good and We also walked around Derwentwater lake and did the Railway walk. Great holiday - thank you

Fabulous house in a great location.. A tumble dryer and also one of the rooms being twin beds would have made it perfect.

This is the best place we've ever visit in Uk.. Keswick is ideally situated to some of The Lake Districts most beautiful fells. Wish we could have stayed forever :) We loved the accommodation on 'Roselea' and where it is set, they prepared a cold Proseco and some crakes for us and we were lucky enough to have fabulous weather and I honestly can't think of anything negative.

Rosalea was very nice, obviously just been done up to a high standard and was spotless.. The location is ideal for the centre of Keswick. A few things that would have made it better / make it unlikely that we would go back: 1. Parking - really difficult to get parked on the street. When we arrived we ended up blocking the road and unloading all our things into front yard whilst being beeped. 2. All double beds in the house, the kids fight in a double bed so we had to spilt them up. Would ensure next time we choose a property with option of single beds for them 3. Only 6 knives, cups, bowls etc. Meant you had to wash up after every meal. Felt a little stingy especially given how much we paid for 4 nights (half term so high season) 4. Recycling - rather complicated system in operation in Keswick with alternate week recycling collection with paper having to go in a separate bin and plastic/ glass in a purple bag. We could only find a general bin and no paper bin nor recycling bags - a neighbour explained the system and also that the collection was delayed as it was a bank holiday week - a few extra lines in the welcome information to explain the process would have helped us. Overall we had a great holiday and hope the feedback is useful to help make Roselea even better than it is.

Fantastic location, parking on the street not great however we found that the shoppers left around 6pm so we were able to move our car onto the street later in the evening.. House was beautifully decorated, and newly refurbished. A few things missing that could have made the stay 100% perfect. Such as drinking glasses or pint glasses for beer. A shoe rack for muddy boots in the hallway would be a good addition too. Other than that, a truly enjoyable stay and a beautiful property.
