We stayed for a week in June 2019 whilst visiting family in the area, the location was great.. The facilities were spot on, the only thing we missed was not having WIFI. The owners were next door but didn’t interfere, but were there if we needed them. Everything was very clean and I would recommend this accommodation for anyone looking to stay in the area , we will be going back again. Coyne family

Very nice cottage with 2 en-suited bedrooms and all facilities for a lovely journey.. Just: no wifi in 2018 is really a minus.

Sarah and Padraic were wonderful hosts.. they made my sons and I feel at home. They listen and genuinely treat their guests as family. We visited during the World Cup and knowing my son was a big football (soccer) fan, they moved their sons football net into our yard so we could play. They went out of their way to help me locate houses belonging to family members who once lived in the village. Our visit there as a great experience.

This was our second vacation here since we discovered this idyllic place in 2017. The Cottage is a quiet place overlooking the beautiful lake islands. The accommodation is clean, well appointed, and ideal for up to four adults. The hosts - the couple could not be more friendly and attentive, who will do everything you may require to ensure the most enjoyable holiday (even arranged the place where we put our boat on a Lough Corrib. Thank you to their community good man Connor for letting us to use his land also). Their son surprised us with his small concert playing on accordion! Very very nice family. We enjoyed being out on the lake in a boat, meeting people in the local pub (4 mins walking) and staying in modern place. WE will be back next year there, because it is a special place with special people, views and atmosphere.

Very nice property with large garden within easy reach of many beautiful areas.. Facilities very good although the TV didn't work very well and there was no Wi-Fi. Village rather limited but nice places a few miles away. Owner very nice and unobtrusive. Good value for money with no additional charges. We had a lovely time with amazingly good weather for Ireland in May.

Lovely location close to Cong, Lough Corrib and the Connermara National Park. Good base for general sight-seeing in the area. The owner was very welcoming and kind. It was great to have an en-suite for both bedrooms and the cottage was warm and cosy. Would recommend this cottage to others.
