Riverside Cottage is a semi-detached cottage near to the village of Llanwrthwl in Mid Wales. The cottage sleeps five people and has one double bedroom, one twin room, a single bed on the landing and a family bathroom. Also in the cottage are a kitchen and a sitting room with a dining area. Outside is off road parking and a garden with outdoor furniture. With three other cottages on site and a spectacular location next to the River Wye, Riverside Cottage is a lovely family holiday cottage.

Two bedrooms: 1 x double with en-suite WC, 1 x twin, 1 x single bed on landing. Ground floor shower room with shower, basin and WC. Kitchen. Sitting room with dining area.

Area
The village of Llanwrthwl sits on the River Wye between Builth Wells and Rhayader. Llanwrthwl is home to a small shop and church which is home to a prehistoric standing stone. Rhayader is three miles away and has shops, restaurants, pubs and a leisure complex.

Region
Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Off road parking for 2 cars. Enclosed lawned garden overlooking the River Wye with furniture. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and petrol station 1.2 miles, pub 2.6 miles. Note: Private salmon, trout and grayling fly fishing available on a catch and release basis only at £20 per rod, per week. Note: The single bed on the landing is suitable for children aged 10 and over only. Please be aware: Some minor maintenance will be taking place in other properties on the grounds up until June 4th

A lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings.. Had everything we needed although the kitchen was a little small. The owners were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. Definitely recommend this cottage and we hope to return soon.

Fantastic location with well-kept lovely gardens! Beautiful place. Mattresses were very comfortable. Close to Rhayader, which is a great place. My dog enjoyed it.

Riverside Cottage is brilliant, very comfortable and clean.. The Glaslyn Estate is an ideal location to see the surrounding country side and places of interest. The Estate's location is also great, the walk along the river which runs through the estate is very beautiful. The owners of the estate are friendly and I would recommend this cottage to anyone who wanted a peaceful and stress free holiday.

The location is fantastic and we found lots to do around the area, if you prefer a relaxing holiday this also would not be a problem the cottage is part of the Glaslyn Estate and the river Wye runs along the bottom of the garden it is an ideal location for walking and fishing, the cottage would benefit from some improvements to the bathroom in particular the shower area , but you have to except that it is an older property and has a lot of character..

Location was stunning, really amazing, on an estate with the Wye River running alongside. The owners were very friendly and helpful as was the gardener. The cottage itself had everything we wanted, very comfortable and the whole property was very clean including towels and bedding. It was also a good house for taking the dog on holiday with us.This was the best holiday we have had and we would like to return!

The cottage was ideal for anyone with dogs or anyone wishing to undertake an adventure/outdoor holiday. There was plenty of space for outdoor clothing/storage of equipment etc. The cottage was very comfortable and within easy access of the main road with walks on the doorstep.

We had a lovely week staying at this cottage. It is a fantastic location to be able to sit in the garden and watch the river and birds go by. We found it very relaxing and I would highly recommend this as an area to stay. I particularly enjoyed visiting the local Red Kite feeding station and the various walks that can be enjoyed near by. There were various Pubs/Restaurants available in Rhayader should you wish to eat out and the owners of the property were very friendly and close by should there be any issues.

The cottage setting was superb, the river outside the door and the mountain back drop is lovely. The river bank walk is lovely, and the whole place has a laid back peaceful atmosphere. Planning to book again for next year, did not want to come home.

The property was spotless and very well appointed. The garden was idyllic, the river was right at the bottom as described. The fishing was excellent with hard fighting trout. The location was good as it was central for exploring Wales. The nearby town had everything you wanted. I would like to extend a special thank you to the owner for a perfect holiday.
