There is also an open-plan living room with a kitchen, dining area and seating area with an electric fire. Outside, there is an enclosed rear courtyard. River View 2 Bridge Street is a lovely riverside cottage in the heart of Cockermouth. Two well behaved pets welcome, £25 per pet.

The market town of Cockermouth rests beside the River Derwent on the fringes of the Lake District National Park. A largely undiscovered and unspoilt area, it is famous for being the birthplace of William Wordsworth, whose family home is owned by the National Trust and makes for a popular visitor attraction. Cockermouth's main street offers a variety of shops, pubs and eateries, and walkers can bask in beautiful scenery and walking opportunities in the northern lakes, around Bassenthwaite Lake, Ennerdale Water and Derwent Water.
