The interior also plays host to a shower room and a ground floor cloakroom as well as a kitchen, dining room, sitting room with open fire and snug. To the outside is off-road parking for up to four cars and a garden with lawned area. River Lodge offers just the break you need.

Area
This village lies beside the River Manifold, among the limestone hills of the Staffordshire Peak District. Ilam Park, owned by the National Trust, is the perfect place to picnic or stroll with your families and four-legged friends, boasting a riverside backdrop and popular tea-room garden for all to enjoy the year-round. About five miles away is the market town of Ashbourne, with narrow cobbled alleys, coaching inns and almshouses. There are many restaurants and pubs to choose from, as well as antique shops.
