We had a great week.. Fantastic weather. Sat outside and could only hear the birds and the cows and no traffic noise. Great secure garden for the dogs. Met the owner who couldn't have been more helpful. Lived without the tv, wifi and hardly any phone signal and survived. We will be booking for next year. We loved the cottage, particularly the location and will certainly hope to book it again.. Probably our best Sykes cottage yet! The cottage is very well equipped -and we appreciated the doggie friendliness, including the futon which my old dog was very happy to claim as his bed! Our only comment would be that the sitting room furniture really isn't very comfortable - we 3 are average height people so usually find most furniture comfortable. Also, any chance of a shower? But, I repeat, we shall certainly hope to book the cottage again.

The cottage is perfect and the position and surroundings are wonderful.. My only very minor niggle was the lack of comfortable chairs and sofa. This would not be a problem in the summer but was in October. We did however have a wonderful restful and peaceful week.

Excellent base for exploring the surrounding are.. Cottage is the perfect mix of homely and comfortable with everything you need (and more). The owner was very friendly and the addition of a welcome pack for both humans and dogs was very much appreciated. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting a tranquil and secluded holiday-peaceful doesn't even come close to describing our week, even with 3 dogs!

A lovely homely cottage in a very pretty rural location.. Within easy reach of some very good beaches. The coastline was stunning. Lots of good walking nearby. Wonderful area for dogs and the cottage garden was well enclosed which was a real bonus with two dogs that like to roam.

The cottage was delightful and the owner had added little personal touches which made it even more special.. Our dogs just loved it and we were very well catered for. Things like butter and milk being left, Welsh cakes, biscuits for our dogs; how thoughtful and kind. We left a message to say how much we appreciated their hospitality. Idyllic place to stay. We would return.

The location of the cottage itself is in a quiet rural area which is lovely if you’re wanting a break from the city to recharge your batteries, which we were.. The cottage was absolutely lovely and stocked with everything we needed! Lovely views all around with a garden as well. It is not far from the villages of Fishguard and Goodwick for any supplies needed. Would definitely visit again in future.
