Fabulous place and surroundings, so picturesque and this cottage is beautiful. It’s been peaceful and relaxing. The cottage is immaculate. Judy Hutton has given us a fantastic holiday, all the little extras and personal touches, you cannot ask for more. We’ve relaxed, read, chilled, ventured out, had a few visits to local pubs and restaurants. Everything you need is here. Local to shops. Judy has provided all the information that you need for the cottage and the local area. We really was not expecting so much for the price we paid. We cannot recommend Reynard Ing enough!!

The cottage was idyllic and set in a beautiful area.. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable and provided everything we needed. The weather was perfect with sun every day and we visited many places of interest during our stay. Our stay was totally relaxing and enjoyable and we are happy for you to publish our feedback. The description was totally accurate as we have come expect with Sykes.

General layout, space, facilities etc were all excellent.. The multi aspect views of the countryside from the living area were fantastic. Mattress was a little soft. Plenty of local walks (from the door, or a short drive away), with Ilkley being worth a look around (not much to Addingham). Recommend Filmore & Union for breakfast!! Would happily return!

We had good weather so we managed to do some lovely walks, even straight from the door.. The views from the cottage where fabulous. I am sorry to say that I do not agree with its five tick rating, as you know with all the cottage we have been with you that have been five ticks are so much better than Reynard Ings. It was disappointing small with odd furniture and the bedroom was the smallest we have ever had on holiday, it was ashame as it's position was great.

Reynard ing is a lovely house; clean, with a fresh look, good wifi connection and well equipped.. the surrounding is beautiful and we liked the walks we made to Bolton Abbey, the Bingley locks and over the moors. The time flew. Judy, thanks for your hospitality.

Simply marvelous! Bucolic scenes of rolling hills scattered with sheep surround you here, along with lovely gardens. Felt private even though cottage is close to owners home- Judy and Noel are superb hosts who have set the cottage up with loving care and quality fittings. Provided tea, sugar, salt/pepper, and a bottle of prosecco was a nice welcome, also had cleaning supplies. Cozy snug, plenty of forms of heat if the day turned chilly. The internet and TV worked great. Loved reading about the history of the cottage in books provided.

Because of our age and disability the comfort in the sitting area is critical and we rely on photos to ensure that there are separate armchairs and not sofas.. We fond the photos not accurate in this regard.

I have stayed in dozens of holiday lets as I have travelled up and down the country in the past few years. And, this is the best of them all. It is beautifully situated within spacious private grounds but close to the small town of Ilkley. Although close to the owners' residence the cottage is detached and privately positioned. I usually have difficulty sleeping but slept well throughout my stay in this quiet, comfortable cottage. Inside, it has everything one could reasonably ask for. It is pristinely clean and well set out. Judy, the owner, is charming and was very helpful. All in all, a first class experience.

We stayed here two years ago and the cottage now has the added benefit of wifi.. Lovely setting with views over Ilkley and the surrounding moorland with curlews often in the next field.

March 2017
Reynard Ing fully lives up to its 5 star rating.. It is beautifully set with back views over Ilkley Moor and front views over Beasley Beacon and the Wharfe Valley. It is also beautifully presented and in a quiet location about a mile west of the centre of Ilkley. The walking is magnificent: easy and pretty along the banks of the Wharfe along the Dales Way and as tough as you like up Ilkley Moor and Beamsley Beacon. Similarly for cycling; the back roads bear quite light traffic. For drivers it gives easy access to the whole of the Dales which are full of magnificent scenery, historic places to visit and excellent eateries. Ilkley is also well connected via bus or train.

The cottage was lovely in beautiful surroundings and good views all round. It was not far to get into Ilkly or tour around the Yorkshire countryside, very peaceful but not isolated. The cottage was spotless and had everything you could possible need.

What a gem! We wanted a small cottage for just the two of us and this property turned out to be perfect. The cottage was in a beautiful condition and spotless. The views of the Moors were stunning and the grazing sheep in the nearby fields were a joy to watch. The sunrise over Ilkley was brilliant. If you want a great place to stay that is convenient to nearby towns and surrounded by stunning views then this is the place. The owners live next door, are very friendly and are to be congratulated.

September 2014
The cottage was absolutely immaculate. The position was perfect, great views, private, easy parking and so close to countryside/towns, it was fantastic! The owner was very friendly and hospitable. For a relaxed or romantic break or walking holiday you couldn't beat it, there are walks from your doorstep, Addingham is only a ten minute walk away, Bolton Abbey is around the corner, the towns of Ilkley and Otley are well worth a visit.

The cottage is absolutely perfect for a peaceful and comfortable stay. The location is idyllic, with beautiful views of the moor and surrounding countryside. The interior of the property is of a very high standard with every need catered for. Only regret is it was too hot to use the wood-burning stove, the weather being really lovely all week!
Mr Taylor

October 2013
This is a very comfortable cottage for two. The cottage is situated just around 1/4 mile from the main A65, and down a short accessible lane, yet it is quiet and surrounded by fields (and sheep) so you really do feel that you are in the countryside. The A65 takes you very easily to Skipton in one direction, and Ilkey in the other, and on to loads of places. We would certainly stay here again, and would highly recommend.
Mrs Weedon
September 2013

September 2013
Cozy cottage with all the amenities to ensure a great relaxing stay. Great location away from hustle and bustle but close enough to good roads to get you to where you want to visit easily and quickly. Great base to visit all the best places in the Yorkshire Dales. We were so glad to stay there. I recommend getting up early, making a cup of coffee and the sitting outside watching the sun rise over Ilkley Moor. Owners really friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
Mr Boeswirth

A beautiful rural setting, quiet but close to Addingham and Ilkley for shops and places to eat. Cottage itself was immaculate, lovely and warm. Footpaths everywhere for walkers. Interesting evidence of early iron workings and burial grounds, defunct railway lines and bridges etc. Lots of places to visit nearby if you so wish.

The cottage was first class, cosy and suited our needs completely. The owners were extremely welcoming and provided us with information about the area. Literature was also available in the cottage. The cottage had every implement you could wish for when cooking. We were fortunate enough to stay the last week in March when the country had very hot weather - early mini heatwave! We left the car most days and walked the Dales Way, over stiles, through the sheep and met lots of locals to chat with. Ilkley was lovely, beer cheap in Weatherspoons! We have already booked again for next year!

This cottage has been beautifully converted and stands as part of a laithe-house farmstead in a lovely valley under Rombald's Moor, just a couple of miles outside the lovely little town of Ilkley. It is perfect getaway place for a couple with everything you would possibly need. It is cosy, warm, light and very, very quiet. The area has excellent access to the southern Yorkshire Dales and to much of West Yorkshire and East Lancashire.

...in case it's unavailable when we want to go again! I thik the phrase is "compact and bijoux" which it certainly was. However everything was beautifully thought out, the owners were lovely. It's really not necessary to say anything else, it's all in the 5 star rating for all categories

Can't beat being in your own cottage for a week. After a full day's sightseeing, it's great to come home each night. Holidaying this way lets you set your own schedule, gets you off the tourist track and into the real life of an area. Wouldn't do it any other way.
