People were lovely, helpful and friendly.. Cottage was very well equipped and clean and comfortable. It did have a damp feel quite possibly due to it being unused due to the lockdown. Rhossili was a joy to run and walk and the cottage is well situated for this type of activity.

We had a problem with the central heating as all the radiators went cold at 7.. 30pm sent a text to the owner who came over after a few moments and she said its because the radiators were up to temperature as they had thermostatic valves. all the valves were set to 5 which is the highest they go the cottage was getting cold so it was not the valves, she had a look at the boiler which was not on despite it being on a timed programme and pressed a button to reset and the boiler restarted about 2 hours later we had to reset the boiler again ourselves and we had to keep doing this for the duration of the holiday sent the owner another text at 9.30am on Monday to say we have to keep resetting the boiler every 2 hours otherwise the radiators go off and the cottage goes cold, she came over again and said again its the thermostatic valves and that's how its set up despite the cottage being cold my mother who is 85 feels the cold could tell when the heating was going off and we had to keep an eye on the time to get ready to reset the boiler, there was a electric heater in the lounge so we had to put that on to get some heat in the lounge overall the cottage was nice and cosy just the heating was the problem

The cottage is situated in a perfect position to access all the beaches on the Gower.. Excellent for Dogs, with an enclosed garden. Lovely homemade cake on arrival. We certainly would use it on another occasion.

The cottage was very well presented and equipped with everything you could possibly need.. The welcome pack including homemade cakes and a bone for our dog were most appreciated. As it was our 25th wedding anniversery, my husband requested whether flowers could be arranged for our arrival and the owners kindly did so. This I thought was exceptional service. We had a most enjoyable week with Rhossili and Oxwich Bays just a short drive away and daily walks on the stunning coastline, helped by the fact we had 6 days in late October without any rain......unheard of ! We plan to return.Thank you

The Old Dairy was a wonderful place to stay.. It was spotlessly clean and had everything you could want and more. The owners left a whole tray of home made cakes and bread on our arrival. They went out of their way to welcome the dog as well - there was a treat and towels to wipe muddy paws and the garden was carefully enclosed so dogs can be let out on their own. It was one of the most relaxing places we have stayed and would thoroughly recommend.

The cottage is just as described, however the welcome pack and overall 'feel' of the Old Dairy exceeded our expectations.. It should be noted that the pub in the village has closed and the nearest is a long walk across the fields, or 5 min. drive away in Port Eynon. The shop in the village is well stocked. We enjoyed our week at the Old Dairy and the warm welcome from our hosts Huw and Caroline helped to make us feel at home.

The Old Dairy is a brilliant cottage to stay in, and by far the best we have ever experienced.. Lovely rear secure garden for our Darcey (Cockapoo) to investigate. Ideally situated to visit Rhoselli, Port Enyon and Oxwich Bay, which are all pet friendly beaches. Caroline and Huw have put a lot of work into making guests feel very comfortable, not to mention the scrumptious welcome tray for us humans as well as a treat for the pooch. I won't say what was on the tray as it would spoil the experience for further guests, let them have a lovely surprise! We certainly slept extremely well, must be a combination of the Welsh air, Welsh water and the extremely comfortable bed! The facilities in the cottage are second to none and we would definitely recommend it. We will hopefully be going back in the near future. Suzanne, Ray & Darcy

The Old Dairy and owners were superb.. (the welcome pack was very nice, lots of yummies) Great location for touring the Gower and beyond. A well stocked shop, chippy & pub are just a short distance up the road in the village. The garden was very well kept and secure to stop our dogs escaping. All of the above was made even better with the weather.

This is possibly the best holiday we have had for many years, the welcome pack was lush and even the dogs had a treat left for them.. The cottage was very clean and tidy on our arrival. It was well appointed with comfortable beds and a cosy sitting room all the appliances were in excellent working order. We spent a lot of time in the garden as the Welsh weather was kind to us on this visit. We would love to visit this property again in the near future.
