The town, surrounded by The Marches, is also renowned as a centre for walking, and you can join the Offa s Dyke footpath from here. Alternatively, explore the Mortimer Trail and the lovely walks to Hergest Ridge (7 miles). Discover Presteigne (6.5 miles), which nestles at the heart of The Marches and home to the award winning Judge s Lodging Museum. Visit Hay on Wye with its literary festival and bookshops, Builth Wells famed for the Royal Welsh Show and the medieval town of Ludlow, are less than 25 miles away. This stylish bungalow is set back off a country lane with gated access. Accessed via the front door, the entrance lobby is where you will find ample storage for muddy boots, a place to hang coats and a convenient space with laundry facilities. From here, you can access the kitchen, which is well equipped with everything a family will need during their stay. There's a sit up breakfast bar ensuring the nominated cooks don't have to miss out on the conversations.
