Cedar Cottage is a cosy and traditional semi-detached property resting near the Welsh town of Llanidloes in Powys. It hosts two bedroom; a double and a twin, sleeping up to four guests. There is also a kitchen/diner and a sitting room with an electric stove. To the outside is a shared garden with a patio and furniture along with shared use of the hot tub in the summer house and off-road parking for 1 car. Cedar Cottage is a delightful base for touring Mid Wales with family and friends. Please note: This property is for adults only (18+).

Area
Llanidloes nestles on the eastern slopes of the Cambrian Mountains, with access to some of the most unspoilt scenery both Wales and the Welsh/Shropshire Borders have to offer. There are plenty of activities to enjoy, with walking, cycling, riding, fishing, tennis, golf, swimming and shooting all available within 10 miles. Further afield is Powis Castle with its world famous gardens, the Welsh Coast, with its fine beaches and Rhayader and the Elan Valley are 40 minutes away; the Shropshire towns of Ludlow and Shrewsbury are within easy reach, as are the North Wales destinations of Llangollen and Snowdonia.

Just come back from staying here, had a great holiday. Lovely well thought out cottage with great views all around. Made to feel welcome from the start, felt like we'd known them for years and couldn't do enough for you. Booked cottage originally to do yamaha off road which is 1.5miles down the lane llanidloes 2.5miles away. Would highly recommend staying here and doing yamaha o r. Only gripe if any not much phone signal so ring from llanidloes centre.

My family members stayed here briefly (3 nights) and didn't particularly like the accommodation, which was quite small. The shower was tiny and the electrics left a lot to be desired...with nearly every socket having adapters in them, which you can clearly see in the marketing material. Also, the accommodation was musty and damp and again every spare adapter had an electric air freshener plugged in to it. The electrics kept shorting out...it was dangerous and overloaded. The small areas and sloping ceiling may not suit all shapes and sizes...
