Area This little hamlet in the Brecon Beacons National Park is a scattered community with a pub and restaurants that provide a different cuisine to taste and enjoy. Llangorse Lake, the biggest natural lake in South Wales, is only a mile from the town. It is one of the most wonderful places to take a stroll, see the birds, go for a boat trip, or go fishing, and it has an old crannog. The historic cathedral town of Brecon, which features dazzling Georgian and Jacobean architecture, countless museums, a theatre and cinema, unique shops, restaurants, and inns serving real ales and regional food, is only six miles from this spot. It is also surrounded by the majestic Beacons, making it the ideal base for walkers and bikers. A quaint community set in gorgeous landscape.
