What an amazing bungalow, the views are stunning and the garden was perfect my children loved the play area. The hot tub is a perfect addition and was lovely to sit in and look out at the view. The bungalow had everything you could need for a comfortable stay, I arranged a Tesco delivery to meet us when we arrived and I’m glad I did as there isn’t much around. Which was just what we wanted! The holiday has been perfect from start to finish and we can’t wait to come back! If you do visit make sure you go to Elan Valley and to the Gigrin Kite Feeding. Thank you so much for a great week.

Location of the bungalow was exceptional. Sitting in the hot tub with the spectacular views was most defanitly the biggest highlight. The cottage itself was extremely well kitted out the kitchen ect. Noticed there were some comments about no stand up shower. But was absolutely fine have a sit down shower. As a small price to pay for this lovely gem of a place. We tend to only go places the once. To try different places. But will deffo be making an exception on returning to this place because was such a great place and the surroundings where all spot on The kids absolutely loved it and really enjoyed using the slide and climbing frame ect. Thankyou so much for a amazing holiday for me, wife and the kids. Can't wait to return again We were actually looking at dates to return whist we were there it was that nice

Great location, situated on a farm with nice valley views.. Property was very good with everything you needed. However, a stand up shower would have made it even been better. If your looking for a place for a peaceful relaxing break, this is it. Would stay here again.

Warm cosy cottage in the perfect location! So quiet and relaxing. The little playground and the hot tub are great. Stunning views from the kitchen and overall. One week is not enough to exlore all the sightseeings - there are so many great places to go to (Elan Valley dams, Snowdonia, Brecon Beacons, Shropshire, Break-its-neck waterfall). Would love to come back!

Very clean and well equipped bungalow.. In a lovely location, very quiet and peaceful. The local shop stocks essentials and there are supermarkets within 10 miles. Overall a really nice place to stay.

This was a fantastic holiday with fantastic accommodation, I really couldn't fault it at all, we had a small problem with hot tub and reported it to the owner who came to the bungalow within the hour to fix it immediately.. Truelly a great place to stay and we will be returning again in the future.

The bungalow is lovely.. its fairly isolated, up a little track past a farm, although the shepherds hut which is also available to rent, is just over the garden hedge, this was unoccupied on our visit, so our privacy wasn't disturbed. The views sre great, and its very peaceful. The owner/manager popped by with additional bedding and was polite and friendly. There is pretty much everything you need here. A well equiped kitchen - with probably a few too many oven/serving dishes in the cupboards! Comfortable dining area with double doors out to the garden and double doors into the lounge. Its a cosy lounge with a small TV and lovely log burner, the back of the settee tilts for comfort (I'm writing this because at first when it dropped down we thought we'd broken it) The bed in the double is quite soft and the other mattresses in the family room sag a little, and the pillows are quite firm. I think several people mentioned the lack of shower. The handheld shower head and hose in the bath is fine, my husband ings nearly 6ft and was able to shower and wash his hair without any problems. We loved the hot tub, which was very clean warm and had a couple of steps to get into it. However the cover is difficult to get off as the mechanism to lift it was broken and not attached. If you have back problems this will be a challenge unless it's repaired. There are a lot of guide books(!) and info about places to visit, some include South Wales and further afield. Locally we enjoyed the Kite feeding station, Elan valley reservoirs, and a walk around Break your neck waterfall (yes, that's what its called!) There's also a nature reserve not far and Rhayader is pleasant to visit. The small community shop just 2 minutes down the road has lots of yummy cakes, reasonable prices logs, those bits and bobs you need and friendly staff.

Everything was lovely and as described.. The bungalow had everything you could need. However the WiFi did not work during our stay and my little one was upset about that.

Set in beautiful farmland, surrounded by fabulous views. It's perfect for soaking in the silence and relaxing. Tynddol is a well equipped bungalow. However, as stated in the advert, there is only a shower hose facility on the bath tap unit. It is possible to shower if you sit in the bath. The hot tub was lovely and added to the relaxing experience. It's a great place to stay. The local community shop is a mile away and is well stocked.

I wouldn't recommend this bungalow for anyone with a disability.. To use the shower means having to stand in the bath and there are no grab it handrails for security. Other than that the bungalow is in a beautiful location with sheep and cows outside the windows.

We had a wonderful week away in this cottage and everything was really nice, the only thing we felt that would of made this holiday receive top marks would of been if it had a shower..

We were more than happy with the cottage in that we wanted somewhere quiet and isolated, but with a young child it was difficult to walk anywhere, therefore we would look for somewhere else more suitable for accommodating young children..

We have just come back from our stay at Tynddol Bungalow and we loved it. Yes, it's a bungalow, so you are not getting an old quaint cottage with beams and a huge fireplace. But don't let that put you off, because Tynddol is lovely. It is tastefully and comfortably furnished, light airy and with a pretty garden. The owner has really done it beautifully, and on all sides there are stunning views. The position is gorgeous. It is right away from the road, with beautiful walks just by stepping through your garden gate. It would be particularly attractive to people with a young family, because it is enclosed and safe. So you can relax with a glass of wine and let the kids enjoy the garden, and the amazing wildlife.....kites, rabbits, otters, squirrels, pheasants and herons. Also, it's not just suitable for families, we went as a couple, and loved the peace and tranquility and the having time together. A group of friends or two couples could also have a lovely time here You have a pub nearby, serving perfectly acceptable pub grub, and a village shop. Don't expect the local area to have towns and villages with cute shops and restaurants, delis or posh frock shops. Radnorshire is truly unspoiled, and that is its charm. There is however a lovely W. H. Smiths in Newtown (amazing for the shop itself which is an original bookshop,) and an Oriel art gallery serving really good cakes and snacks. Finally, don't forget your cossie....and don't knock it till you've tried it...... Tynddol has a hot tub, and I loved sitting there, glass in hand watching the red kites. So give this lovely holiday let, and this lovely unspoiled part of Wales a go. I think you'll be back.

The cottage was clean and well stocked, there were nice touches like the little welcome pack of biscuits and the rose petals.. The owners were very present and accommodation, this couple's with the seclusion, hot tub and views made this a fantastic holiday.
