A lovely property in a quiet location with fantastic views from the rooms and balcony.. Excellent facilities for the eight of us (including baby) all on one floor. Fab welcome from the owners who were friendly and helpful. When we mentioned this break was our early Christmas celebration, they put up the Christmas tree and decs while we were out. Hot tub was a real fun bonus, even in December. Our two dogs were made to feel welcome and were also well catered for. Overall, a great place. Would return.

Excellent place with everything you need and more.. Hosts very friendly and helpful, and kindly showed us around the lovely donkeys and horses at their place. The hot tub was clean and hot and fun. The heating is unusual, warmer at night than the morning, but the open fire was a boost . Scenery stunning, plenty of walks to do and places to see. Not great roads if you suffer car sickness

We had a fantastic time here, the cottage was beautiful and spacious, and had everything we could have needed.. The views from the balcony were beautiful, it was lovely to enjoy a coffee in the morning whilst watching the horses roaming around. We would love to visit again and plan on doing so next year.

Rachel was very helpful and friendly, especially giving us a few essentials upon arrival. We really loved going in the hot tub, where you can admire the stunning view of the hills. We had a wonderful holiday at Middle Hivron, our children loved the hot tub and playing in the grounds on an evening.. The owners of the farm were lovely and friendly and took the children to see their horses. The views from the lodge were fantastic.
The lodge itself was like a home from home....great furnishings and really comfortable beds...the ensuite is lovely.

The house had lovely views and was very well furnished.. We really enjoyed the hot tub at the end of the day and it heated up really quickly. The location is quite remote so you do have to drive every day but there were plenty of interesting places to visit. We especially enjoyed Elan Valley reservoirs and Powis Castle.

Warm welcome from Rachel and Andy and loved the tea/ coffee / milk / bread / fruit on arrival.. They really had thought of everything with local maps and suggested activities. Wood burning hot tub was easy to use and Rachel provided the wood. Lovely to sit on the veranda and watch the hawks and red kites in the valley and general wonderful scenery. Excellent location as base for walking, e.g. Elan Valley . Local pub in Bleddfa now closed. Local roads not suitable for walking on due to the speed of the traffic and lots of bends. Local Forestry Commission Fishpools trail was great for a 90 min walk. Ordered a veg box in advance from Rhos Gardens www.rhosorganic.co.uk/ which was delivered to the cottage. Certainly one of the best cottages we'd stayed in. Will definitely be recommending this to our friends.

What a perfect, relaxing weekend away with friends! Middle Hivron is situated with some stunning views, no light pollution so an evening in the hot tub is just as clear as could be. Plenty of places to walk the dogs and Rachael and her family were always around if we needed them. We had perfect weather which of course helped but we would definitively recommend and would go back! What a perfect weekend break! Thank you :)

Great place in the countryside.. The owners could not have been more helpful - they were brilliant despite some small unexpected issues. These were all sorted out quickly and without question which was impressive and made us feel in safe hands.
We will be back soon.

Middle Hivron was a lovely property.. The owner, Rachel Holman, made our holiday extra special. She left fresh eggs, flowers and fruit for us, had decorated the house for Christmas and was always available for help.
