The living areas in this single-storey property consist of a kitchen/diner with an electric oven and hob, and a fridge, a utility with freezer, microwave, and dishwasher, a sitting room with Smart TV and gas fire, and a conservatory. The bedrooms consist of a double with en-suite, a further double, and a twin (zip/link), serviced by a bathroom. Outside there is a front lawn, an enclosed rear garden with lawn, patio, and furniture, and a private, gated driveway. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. You'll find a shop in 2.6 miles and a pub in 3 miles. The Marshes is a wonderful base to explore Powys from. Note: There are steps in the garden. Note: Guests will have access to the garage for bike storage.

This charming community, Guilsfield, is home to two pubs, a church from the 12th century, and typical black and white dwellings. Three miles from the Welsh/English border, nestled in the upper reaches of the lovely Severn Valley and surrounded by rolling hills and gorgeous, unspoiled countryside, is Welshpool, a lively market town. In addition to the reconstructed cock fighting pit and intriguing Heritage Trail in the town centre, Welshpool has a distinctive mix of stores selling arts and crafts, fashion, and leisure activities. Visit the famed Dingle Gardens, the 13th-century Powis Castle, the Llanfair Light Railway, take a trip on the Montgomery Canal, or take beautiful walks and bike rides along Offa's Dyke and the National Trails.
