Conveniently situated on the main road, providing easy access by car or public transport, whatever the season or the weather. Ideal for exploring the Brecon Beacons National Park, Brecon is 7 miles away and the picturesque small town of Crickhowell 6 miles in the opposite direction. Llangynidr is 1 mile away with canal walks, a tennis court and two excellent pubs. Try the outdoor activities available at Llangorse Activity Centre with its climbing wall and Cantref Adventure Farm, both with pony trekking centres. Hire a kayak and paddle along the Brecon and Monmouth Canal, or walk along the River Wye and the River Usk. The Henry Vaughan Walk along The Brinoyre Tram Road winds through the scenic and historic Talybont valley or immerse yourselves in Welsh cultural history with a visit to one of many historic houses, gardens and castles. This delightful cottage is much loved and full of character, with oak beams and exposed stone walls complemented by fresh cream interiors and comfortable furnishings making this a welcome retreat. The neatly fitted kitchen has a gas hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and washing machine. The dining area has a lovely, original quarry tiled floor and a table perfect for romantic mealtimes. Upstairs, the lovely and light living room has large skylights to make the most of the fabulous far reaching views across the valley. Large oak beams and exposed stone walls featuring little nooks with the doors all ledge and brace, a nod is given to the historic design of this lovely cottage. Snuggle on the sofa with a good book or a film and a glass of wine, before retiring to the attractive double bedroom for good night's sleep. Completing the upstairs, the wet room style bathroom has a powerful shower. The property has a small enclosed yard area with seating and a portable BBQ.
