Stroll the quaint streets and take a leisurely boat trip along the canal, spotting the abundant wildlife along the banks. For a relaxing afternoon, head to Cantref Adventure Farm (2 miles) and hop in the saddle for a pony trek through the rolling landscape. Situated adjacent to the owner s property, although privacy is assured, this charming cottage sits on the farmyard courtyard. Step up and through the front door and into the warm and inviting interior where a wealth of original features has been retained, including exposed brickwork and ceiling beams. Within 500 metres of the property is the River Menascin for picnics and swimming. A field is located below the cottage for guests who have friends wishing to camp. Stabling is available for horses by arrangement with the owner.
