For the thrill seekers, the Brecon Beacons (7 miles) and River Wye have several adventure training providers, including renting a canoe, high rope courses, and gorge walking. Hay on Wye (6 miles) is famous for its International Book Festival and is home to an arthouse cinema, The Globe at Hay, and a number of second hand bookshops and independent shops. Enjoy views across the valley as you arrive on the farm, before accessing the retreat via the French doors into an inviting lobby. Leave your boots at the door and step into the hub of the cottage; a spacious kitchen/diner that s perfectly set up for entertaining, with an open plan kitchen, warming wood burner and a generously sized dining table which can accommodate up to eight guests, backed by valley views. To the rear of the barn, a small set of steps gives access to a shower room, a double bedroom, and a spacious twin bedded room with a daybed for additional relaxation space.
