Holiday Rental Description

Holiday home
Tree House View, a single-storey yurt has a king-size bedroom with woodburning stove, and communal access to two shower rooms, a kitchen/dining space, and a utility. Shared appliances include an oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher and on-site WiFi. Outside there is a decked area with firepit and picnic bench, access to 28-acres of woodland, and off-road parking for one car, near the yurt or communal facilities. Two well-behaved dogs welcomed at a supplement, but sorry, no smoking. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included, along with a highchair and travel cot. Escape to Powys at Tree House View. Note: Steps up to decking. Note: This property is unsuitable for those with limited mobility and access causes difficulty for sports cars and wheelchairs. Note: Poor phone signal, and no WiFi at the yurt. Note: Single track access, small ford and cattle grid at entrance. Note: Kitchen and bathroom facilities a short walk away.

Area
The small village of Beguildy sits amongst peaceful countryside on the edge of the Welsh/English border. Surrounded by green landscapes, the village hosts a public house serving good food, a shop and a Post Office for daily essentials. There is fantastic access for those who wish to explore Beacon Hill, plus a 5-mile route for keen horse riders can be reached on the nearby beautiful Glyndwr's Way National Trail, as well as the Kerry Ridgeway or Jack Mytton Way. An abundance of walks and cycle routes at Offa’s Dyke provide fantastic views, and red kite and grouse can often be spotted. The neighbouring village of Knucklas boasts an ancient 13th century castle mound and an imposing viaduct built in 1865, complete with an impressive 13-arch span. Set on the Heart of Wales railway line between Shropshire and Swansea, why not leave your car behind and venture further into Wales by train, enjoying beautiful rural scenery along the way? A short drive away is the market town of Knighton, which is a celebrated location for walking, horse riding and cycling with Offa's Dyke passing through the town. Knighton also offers a farmers' market once a month selling local Shropshire and Welsh produce. Visit magnificent Powis Castle with its celebrated gardens, the spectacular Water-Break-It’s-Neck waterfall, the Elan Valley dams and the lovely towns of Bishop’s Castle, Leominster and medieval Ludlow, with its famous 13th century castle, ancient buildings and wonderful restaurants. AAlso visit Llandindrod Wells and Builth Wells, which boasts the Royal Welsh Showground which hosts a variety of events throughout the year. A wonderfully peaceful location for exploring beautiful mid Wales and Shropshire.
