The cottage is perfectly located near to shops and the lovely town of Tenby.
It's on a quiet back street away from traffic noise and despite no on-street parking the place is literally a couple minutes walk from a multi-story carpark with reasonable charges for the week. The dog-friendly portion of South Beech is only about 400m walk. So really can't fault any of those aspects.
The house is roomy and well equiped in general.
Split over 4 levels this isn't one if you want to avoid stairs but has 3 double-rooms so plenty of bed-space :)
The main issues for me were the bath, which is implied on the listing, but really for a 6ft 2 man it's impossible to have a shower without being on your knees in the bath. The on-tap shower is fairly low pressure so can imagine it being a challenge if a family of 6 wanted to all get cleaned up at the end of a day's beech day covered in sand.
The other main issue for me was the inconsistent heights of doors, pretty much every door in the house has a different height, and some are well under 6ft ... similarly with the eaves of the house encroaching into landings you're always ducking/weaving to get around. I happened to mis-time one trip into the lounge and cracked my head sharply on the doorframe which put me out of action for a day feeling woozy.
It's so close to be being a brilliant house but the bathroom for us means i can't see us returning to this one unfortunately.
