We’ve had a lovely, relaxed week at Highbury.. Welcoming owners who have a great set up for social distancing and keeping everyone safe. The property had everything we needed and more, the photos do not do it justice it was much bigger than I was expecting. The children enjoyed using the fenced off lawn area when the weather permitted and we could sit on the patio and relax. The beds were very comfy and cosy. We would definitely visit again as it’s a great location for exploring Pembrokeshire.

Lovely home from home, except tidier than ours! Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable and well sized lounge to relax in after a coast walk. Would probably suit a young family especially if the weather is poor. Lovely hosts. Be prepared to drive, but centrally placed to reach most of the coasts in c. 30 minutes.

This is a really lovely cottage for a family to stay in.. It’s a little way out in the country, which we like because it’s quiet, and we don’t mind driving a bit to reach things. The cottage is beautiful, like a home from home. The only thing is the cooker is a bit of a pain to cook on and takes a while to cook anything (on the hob) but other than that there is everything you want. The owners left us some goodies for our arrival, which was much appreciated too.

The owner made us feel very welcome on arrival.. The cottage is spacious & well equipped. The heating was a bonus as the weather was changeable during our weeks stay. The location was ideally placed for visiting a number of locations - beaches & places of interest. We shall certainly return at some future point.

A really lovely cottage, a 'home from home' with everything needed to make a break away special.. The owner made us feel very welcome and there were very thoughtful extras supplied. The location of the cottage is excellent for visiting all the lovely places in the area. We will certainly return.

Excellent accommodation, very spacious and clean.. Hosts, Gwenda and Rob were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Highbury is very well situated to explore this very under rated area of wales. It is very easy to find and we had no problems with access, plenty of parking space and no noise issues. We will be returning to Highbury, as it is probably the best sykes cottage that we have used so far.

Lovely place and lovely owners immediately adjacent and available (not that we needed to).. A bit further from the sea/coastal path than we would have liked and indeed were expecting - maybe that was our lack of research. Would certainly go back, though it's a long way from Sheffield. Can certainly echo Gwenda's recommendation of the local pub (Sun lunch + one evening) and also The Sloop at Porthgain (40 mins away - 2 meals).

Good central location for both north and south coastlines

We enjoyed a lovely sunny week at Highbury, excellent facilities, really spacious accommodation.. Kitchen was fitted out well (although having to traipse back and forth to the utility room to use the cooker and fridge was a little frustrating at times). The owners were friendly and helpful. Our children enjoyed meeting the chickens and 3 cats which were on site. There was a little noise from the B-road next to the property but nothing that really disturbed us. Highbury is really close to Scolton Manor which has a park and café. It is about 25 mins to the nearest beach. We were very happy visiting Pembrokeshire and would recommend this area highly.

The accommodation was everything we hoped it to be.. The owners were friendly and helpful - always there should we have needed anything (which we didn't). We found it spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.
