  • "Lovely cosy cottage, well equipped and clean."

    Beautiful area. Really enjoyed our stay. The beach and lily ponds were very easily reached on foot and were great for us and our whippets. Local pub 2 minutes walk.

The property

Resting in the pretty little village of Bosherton with the beach and coastal views just a short distance away, is this homely semi-detached Pembrokeshire cottage bursting with character.

Park up outside and amble through the front gate, along the stone garden path and admire the vast lawns taking up the external space.

Feel instantly at home as you stumble upon the open, airy living room showcasing a delightful arrangement of furnishings over a flagstone floor, with a dining table pleasantly positioned in one corner, providing a lovely area to gather in the evenings.

The galley-style kitchen boasts an assortment of brightly coloured tiles, accompanying a range of helpful cooking appliances.

Just off from here is the bathroom, brightly decorated with modern fixtures in a fresh, reviving all-white shade and customary, neutral tiles covering the surface of the walls.

Take a long hot soak after a venturesome day out with the family and enjoy a good nights' sleep in the double bedroom upstairs, benefitting wonderful, picturesque scenes of the abounding countryside.

With close proximity to the Lily Pools, you can easily enjoy an afternoon stroll exploring the National Nature Reserve and freshwater lakes carpeted in beautiful lilies.

These lakes lead to the sandy dunes of Broadhaven South beach with plenty of open spaces to be enjoyed by everyone.

Nearby Pembroke offers castles and ancient heritage along with an abundance of gentle strolls, afternoon tea, delightful shops and a good selection of pubs and eateries.

Farther afield is the harbour town of Tenby with stretches of golden shoreline and the ruins of Tenby Castle, on a headland overlooking the sea.

Bosherston is a beautifully quaint village to the south of Pembrokeshire with close proximity to the historic town of Pembroke. Though the village may be small, it boasts a vast area of natural beauty down at the Bosherston Lily Pools and National Nature Reserve with abounding countryside scenery. The freshwater lakes are home to otters, wildfowl and dragonflies amongst other glorious wildlife. It is also well stocked with an array of fish offering good coarse fishing. The wider area of Pembrokeshire is home to ancient castles and heritage with Pembroke Castle and Carew Castle being among some of the finest in the country. The regions' colourful past can be seen in several museums including Tenby Museum, a treasure chest of history, telling the tale of a fishing and trading port that became a fashionable resort. This nearby harbour town is a must visit whilst in the area, it makes a lovely day out for families and friends alike. It boasts ancient castle ruins, a 15th century Tudor Merchant's House along with St. Catherine's Island, home to St. Catherine's Fort.
