We loved the house and its facilities.. Plumbing in one room uses a very noisy macerater which could and did disturb sleep as floors are thin and noise travels. We asked for an extra bed in the family room which was provided, thank you , but the mattress on it was very thin for the child to sleep on . The owners were very helpful with providing bits and bobs which made food production easier. Lots of information sheets meant we were able to fill our time with very interesting outings in an area we knew very little about, even though we had researched some for ourselves. We should have appreciated another door key as different parties in our group were out and back at different times.

Fantastic cottage with beautiful surroundings and plenty for the children to do.. The hot tub and zip wire were fab and the garden was big enough for a great easter egg hunt and a big game of rounders. The building itself was brilliant too with everything you needed for an enjoyable holiday and a bbq area with shelter which was also a sun trap! There was plenty of space for everyone and the flowers and cakes on arrival were a nice touch - would highly recommend ordering homemade cakes from the owners (small cost - but well worth it) we even brought some home. Lots on the doorstep too from many superb beaches to small towns, country pubs/restaurants and other attractions a only short drive away. Great memories created x

Our cottage was a beautiful and homely place to stay! The hot tub was a superb addition we had great fun and the place was very comfortable and spacious for 12 people. We rented it out for a birthday weekend and worked out really well. Would highly recommend this place!

Beautiful house.. Very clean and welcoming in an amazing setting with garden alongside the river. We stayed over Christmas and the house was very warm, as was the fire and the superb hot tub. The kitchen was very well equipped and Christmas dinner for 12 was no problem. Very friendly and helpful host who responded almost immediately to a couple of requests.

Great location, a good base to explore north Pembs, especially.. Some good local pubs with very good food and drink - a special mention to The Salutation in Felindre Farchog for the having Welsh speaking staff. Ty Llwyd is a lovely property and the owners were very welcoming. A very enjoyable holiday.

Good venue for a family holiday.. The bedroom in the roof was ideal for the children. Our hosts were extremely friendly - my 5 grandchildren spent a lot of time in the host's farmyard playing with 2 new puppies! Zip wire in garden a great hit.

What a lovely Cottage.. Everything you could ask for. Very clean and Cosy. The Hot Tub was a fantastic bonus after a day of Exploring the area. No negatives what so ever. If you want a family get together or just a group of friends I would definitely recommend this property. Exceptionally worth the visit

Lovely setting and made to feel very welcome on arrival.. Lots of little things they had done around the house made a difference - a lot of thought had gone into making you feel comfortable at the property! The kids loved the top floor snug and spent most of their time up there or in the hot tub! Rooms were spacious. Kitchen was great to cook in and have everybody sat around one big table :-) You would not regret booking this property!

The house was lovely, big and spacious.. All in all the property was perfect for what we wanted. It was for 3 birthday celebration and a well deserved break for 5 couples who really don’t get to see it each other very often. We cooked and brought food with us so we didn’t have to do much cooking on the days we were there However there is plenty of pots, pans, plates, cutlery and baking trays. There is also a dishwasher which is perfect as we hardly did any washing up. Most rooms have en suits and the beds were all doubles, one had an extre single and another had a cot, which was perfect for family’s. The location is ideal if you don’t want to leave the house, everything else is a car trip away. The beach was 10 mins away by car along with the pubs and shops. There is one room at the top which has no heating and we asked for a heater which was brought over straight away. If anyone plans to book this lovely house please make sure some essentials are packed... toilet paper (I brought a 12 rolls which was just enough), kitchen paper( I brought 4) hand wash (6 needed as none in any bathrooms) tea/coffee/sugar/ bread/eggs/butter/ beans and all food to eat throughout stay. Also take extra towles with you, the home owners left us a towel each however once you use the towel there isn’t much space to dry the towels, so we used the towels provided by the owners when we used the hot tub and our own for when we had a shower. Looking back we could have easily used the heaters to dry them on! So again that’s up to you. There is a spare fridge/washing machine and tumble dryer in the outhouse which is also an added bonus. I absolutely loves the house, but as it is not lived in and mainly has occupancy when big groups book, the house can accumulate some cobwebs and dead flys, not that it bothered us guys much, as the boys went around and swept them off not many just a few and there was cleaning products to hand, so again added bonuses :) Will I book this property again... most definitely next time my partner and I fancy a break I may even book the smaller cottage as that was on the same grounds and could have been booked together for even larger groups. Everything was what I expected. Thank you again to the Davies family for such an amazing time. Not to forget we had a welcome pack of freshly baked muffins on arrival which was an absolute treat and went down well ( we all found out later the 12 year old daughter had baked them... amazing) I wished I ordered some before I left but forgot. This property is lovely ❤️

Booked this property as a new year trip with several friends - Sykes was spacey even at capacity while still having that homey feeling.. Huge rooms, big beds & great amenities. Great for adults, but with the playpark & garden would be perfect for a group with kids also. We’re already looking at a return trip!
