There is an ancient castle ruin on the edge of the village, wonderful river walks and a pub/restaurant serving fine food all year round. The beautiful Pembrokeshire coast is nearby with its stunning sandy beaches, the famous coastal path, bird and dolphin watching and boat trips. An informative and fun day can be had by all at the local Iron Age hill fort and the Shire Horse farm. A perfect location for all ages to escape for a peaceful, yet fun packed holiday at any time of year.

We chose this place to stay as it was set in the village that our mother grew up in as a child. It held fond memories. The venue was spotless and everything you could think of was available. Host Martin was welcoming on arrival and as we left. The grounds were perfect and well maintained. Rooms were very comfortable and peaceful surroundings. We will certainly be back. Beautiful property. Great welcome pack on arrival. Many thanks Gwen and Glen.

Wow what an amazing place.
The house has been sympathetically restored retaining original character along with all the modern conveniences that modern living needs.
The bedrooms are spacious with lovely quality bedding and furniture. The bathrooms are lovely - luxury hotel style with character reutilisation of existing f tures from the dairy! The towels are of excellent quality, and it’s lovely to have bath sheets not just towels.
The kitchen provides everything you’d need with the breakfast room providing an area for casual dining.
The dining room is maxi Thoth the panelled walls and surprises in the cupboards with more crockery, glasses and the hosts have even thought of a cocktail shaker.
The living room is a lovely place for all to gather, socialise and relax.
The grounds are breathtaking and the ambience is so relaxing - the lack of light pollution means that if there is an aurora you’ll see it along with fabulous stars.
Finally the host Martin is wonderful - you can tell he has put his heart and soul into the place. He is welcoming friendly and so informative about the local area.
We have rented many houses and this one is the best.
Will definitely return
