The general public rarely notices these beaches unless they divert from the main route through the village, which includes a petrol station, two pubs, a fish and chip shop, and a restaurant at Pwll Gwaelod beach. It's a terrific place to go boating in Newport, a seaside town that's full of interesting shops, tea houses, and pubs.
