Area Gunwalloe village is situated amongst the sand dunes and cliffs on the west coast of the Lizard Peninsula with three beaches, a large stretch of sand reaching as far as Porthleven, Dollar and Church Cove and a popular pub, The Halzephron Inn, offering tables outside with views right across Mount’s Bay. Gunwalloe is near to Mullion which is a large village on the Lizard Peninsula, the most southerly tip of mainland Britain. The village is home to a selection of popular restaurants, shops and pubs, Mullion Meadows Chocolate Factory and coffee shop, as well as Mullion Cove, a pretty working harbour. Helston is a pleasant, busy market town famous for its Flora Day Festival and the fascinating Helston Folk Museum and the very popular Flambards theme park. Also within half an hours drive are Falmouth, St Ives and Penzance. The Helford River, with boat hire, sub-tropical gardens and two fabulous pubs is also just a 15 minute drive. Further afield is the harbour town of Falmouth to the east and Land's End to the west. Gunwalloe is a wonderful holiday destination offering plenty of attractions for the whole family
