The cottage was lovely with a lovely back garden.. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Being the first occupants for 7 months, everything was fine and we appreciated use of the garage at the front for storing our bikes and beach-type stuff rather than keeping it in the cars or in the foyer.. The beds were most comfortable and there was plenty of comfortable room space for our three adults and two boys, in what they called their 'holiday house'. Nearby facilities were all very convenient and more shops and takeaways are also available 10 mins away at Benllech. Great beaches all around plus interesting Neolithic sites within walking and cycling distance.

We had a wonderful stay at Abermor over New Year. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you need to feel at home (the Christmas decorations were a lovely touch) and the rooms are tastefully decorated. The sea views are great and it is easy walking distance to Moelfre beach (and the rest of the coastal path). The owners were incredibly helpful over a lost item too. We had a great stay and would love to go back.

Fantastic house, well equipped for eight people, wonderful location with lovely sea views and only a short stroll to the local shop, pub and pebble cove.. Would highly recommend and we will be returning in the future. We were a party of 5 adults and 3 children and the house was ideal.

Spent a gorgeous week at this homely cottage. Couldn’t have asked for a better base to explore Anglesey. There have been 6 adults and a 1 year old on his first ever holiday. The cottage was well equipped and had everything we could need. It has its own high chair and travel cot which really helped us here. The bungalow itself was a great place for my son to crawl around and as it is so spacious it meant the rest of the family could also relax in peace in other rooms. The folders of places to visit and local information were a nice touch and gave us some excellent ideas of things to do and places to see. I can recommend a day trip to Beaumaris as a start and then go from there. Stunning views and we’d love to come back.

Great house with amazing views very comfortable place to stay.. Area is lovely regular bus service and pavement access to the centre of the village. Lots of friendly locals. Nice areas to walk.Wish we’d had this weeks weather but can’t complain as the changing weather gave us entertainment and beautiful rainbows

Abermor is a lovely holiday home.. I would say it needed locks on bathroom doors though for that little bit extra privacy (high up locks so children can't reach). It is in a nice area quite central to get to everywhere. I did try to purchase the breakage insurance but unfortunately did it on the day we arrived, so you would not accept it, which I suppose was fair enough. Other than that I find Sykes Holidays a good place to start looking for you next holiday. Many thanks.

Abermore was a lovely property in a perfect location.. Plenty of room for 7 of us. Enclosed rear garden was ideal for our grandson to play. Beach and pubs within walking distance. We would have loved to stay another week it was so relaxing

Liked the fact that we were provided with plenty of mugs, plates, cutlery etc.. not just the 8 of everything as this was the number the cottage accommodated. Bathrooms & showers were great and it was a very comfortable home from home. The only improvement I can suggest is a little more storage for the bedrooms but all in all had a lovely week

We were blessed with good weather.. The cottage was very nice clean and comfortable and in an excellent position. Any criticism seems churlish but if I had one it would be the situation/siting of the Bathrooms. One at each end would be better but 3 would be great.

Abermor is in a great location with views over the snow clad mountains of Snowdonia from the living room, where we sat in the warm glow of the wood burner during the evenings.. Three generations of the family all enjoyed a quiet and peaceful week with coastal and country walks, Good food at local pubs and restaurants. The one next door and the Ship inn at Red Wharf Bay are particular favourites. It is definitely somewhere we would like to return to.

Lovely bungalow.. Great for a family of 7

Facilities and rooms could not have been better ! One tiny point, would have welcomed some small shot glasses and some smaller tumbler glasses, say 6 of each. Found the front steps difficult because the handrail does not go down to the drive, and that first step is rather high. yes i know there is a ramp too. We found an excellent place for Sunday Lunch - not cheap but well worth the money - Lastra Farm, but you must book. The attention to detail and the quality of the food was superb. Plenty of attractions to visit. I enjoyed the Moelfre Life Boat museum, and of course we all enjoyed the fish and chip shop, but go easy on the chips, enough to feed the next cottage too ! For a garden centre, Holland Arms was great, and their afternoon teas too. Really enjoyed the Pili Palas Nature World - not a big zoo by any means but excellent for what it was and great coffee too. And some of us managed to see a red squirrel - on the last day, in the Newborough Forest, a lovely quiet place to visit but the boardwalk was too difficult for a wheelchair. The Plas Newydd gardens, well more grounds than gardens, were no joy with the chair either, uphill/downhill and on gravel. Shame we were too late in the season to get a boat ride through the Menai Straits but mum had a paddle in the sea ! It was a lovely place to spend a week.

I thought the bungalow was very well equipped to a high specification and included everything you could think of for a self catering holiday. It had lovely views across the bay from the lounge and kitchen windows and an area to sit out to admire the views. It was in an ideal location with the village centre only a five minute walk away. There was a choice of two pubs and a couple of cafes and chip shop as well as a local shop for essentials.

The overall standard of Abermor was second to none, the owner has gone out of his way to ensure that the furnishings and decor are second to none. We would and already have recommended the cottage to friends. Thank you for a wonderful week, kind regards Steve and Nina Cunningham, John and Marguerite Birchall.
