Area The village of Llanfachraeth, lies on Anglesey’s west coast and is named after a sixth century saint, St Machraeth. The village is set on the banks of the river Alaw, which flows from the Llyn Alaw reservoir, where it is possible to fish for coarse and game fish and salmon.
