I knew when booking this wouldn't be a top of the range accommodation it would just be lived in feel I had some issues with a few items like cereal bowls and place mats table cloth which were totally resolved within less than 24 hours very much appreciated. Unfortunately to have to say again in a review the mattress on both double beds are shocking and this isn't personal taste downstairs one rock hard ,one up stairs springs digging into you when you moved it it was like rusty springs screaming at you total lack of sleep we even went and bought 2 thick quilts to help but not completely even though I mentioned this when I sent the information about everything else nothing was ever mentioned they do need replacing ,this is a reason my husband I and our daughter came home early we left on Wednesday evening we had booked from Friday to Friday, my in laws stayed for the other 2 days .I had to lift the living room rug as it had chewing gum stuck in it which I also found down the side of the sofa where a cushion was stuck to it also under the edge of the coffee table and under the edge of the sofa . There is to much of things no need for all the pictures and metal art and vases with artificial flowers in really not needed they are dust collectors and and they were all covered in webs which we cleaned off . The house needs a deep clean downstairs including the shower needs new silicone as moldybin the corner . The stairs do also . The flooring going into the bathroom is dangerous as sinking needs repairing . The bedrooms upstairs are lovely apart from the mattress and I would show some attention to the window frames the 2nd night it was windy and raining and you could not on hear through the frames you could see the blinds and curtains move . My dog wouldn't go for a wee or poo out the back it has decking and the planks are all porous now and green they need replacing with flags as the pee smell when we arrived was totally off putting to sit out there better when we had alot of rain it seem to wash the smell but then you had the smell of oil from the plastic containers. It is tired and needs alot of tlc which will make it more appealing , you have everything you need within the kitchen no issues there and I was contacted back very quickly it just needs a lift and more inspection on thing . Oh and the hoover needs replacing for guests to use it smells and was still full of previous guests things

My partner and I have just arrived at this cottage today Saturday 13th July party of 6 Including 3 children, was told there would be a stairgate at bottom of stairs & guess what, no bloody stairgate, told by someone called Holly, one shared between 2 properties??? What, for gods sake this was requested months ago, also requested a high chair, and yes you guessed it high chairs absolutely useless, bathroom window lock came off in my partners hand when she opened the window, kitchen window will not open only one working, TV in living room is now on a TV unit instead of on a wall Bracket as was in the fotos on website, reason this isn't acceptable is because the little girl of 24mths can push it off the Unit, wine Cooler is a joke as well, an ice cube would be colder, waiting to speak to the letting agents, sykes. Com as soon as humanly possible to tell them everything that's wrong with this property and to get there fingers out and get it sorted & will also be looking for Compensation This property is being advertised under false pretenses and SYKES should be bloody ashamed of themselves as well Unfortunately we've got no choice but to stay for the duration of our holiday as we've got nowhere else to go and stay, we have stayed in numerous property's over the last 6 years in and around anglesey, but this is the Absolute Worst Ever This needs a total face-lift not only inside but outside as well, New windows for sure through out the property !!!!!!!! We are totally frustrated and upset about this.!!!

The property was disappointing with a number of issues: The photos of the property need updating. The hot tub area needs attention as the covering building appears to be rotting with boarding falling off and the barbecue was a bright rust colour and would need a good clean before use. Of the house itself the bathroom needs updating with the floor having a rather spongy feel to walk on and the shower cubicle having mould where the tiles met the shower tray. The front bedroom did not have a complete smoke alarm fitted. The heater in the twin room did not work at all. Other smaller issues were no light on the cooker hood, a wheel missing from the lower tray in the dishwasher (when loaded it makes the basket unstable when removing), no shelf in fridge door, only lower one for bottles. We had to hoover the settee (possible dog hair) and under the seats needed cleaning (packet of childs sweets found). All in all a very disappointing experience.

Arrived on 17th july, no hot water ( was solved next day), dead flys all in bathroom, crisp packet left on fire place, skirting board hanging off with a nail stuck out (with a 10 month old baby complete hazard) radiator hanging off the wall, headboard on downstairs bed broken, not enough cutlery, beds upstairs creaky and ancient, no lights working outside where hot tub is. Cooker has no shelves for the oven, dirty and filthy oven husband spent an entire afternoon cleaning it, dirty dishes in draws the list goes on and on. Absolutely gutted completely wrecked our time
