We stayed here for a full week, the house itself was nice and the area lovely. We had issues with the HOTUB, day 2 it had scum in it eventhough the kids was showering before use, we rang Sykes and they sent the house cleaner round and he cleaned it, it took him about an hour. The next day the scum was back, we checked the filter on day one b4 hand and it was grey and looked very worn so presumed that was the issued and presumed they would of put in a new one seen as the cleaner had been out but he just put the same one back in. My children got infected spots on their skin due to the infested hot tub, I took pictures and reported this and the owner still tried to charge us over 500 pound for the house cleaner coming out to put in the same manky filter. I voiced this to Sykes and they agreed it’s not right but the owner still pushed for the 500 and odd. I rang the company on the invoice for ‘the clean’ and they hadn’t been out to the house at all and said they would never put in an old filter. The charge was for an ANNUAL CLEAN which they are supposed to do annually and the company off the invoice told us this type of clean would be 170 and would be called a general clean. The owner had lied and tried to charge us for what they are supposed to do for maintenance for their hot tub each year and not used this company. Sykes them self agreed this was wrong! I managed to claw back the money due to they just dipping into my account! They also said we left the property a mess whereas we cleaned for the whole morning and it was cleaner than when we arrived! I believe they make false accusations to Sykes themselves so it sounds more believable that they would need to make excessive charges to customers. Please watch out staying at the property because if they can charge you for something THEY WILL!

Beautiful spotlessly clean house, key safe on the side wall (take care to have the key when you come out of the front door as it self locks) 3min walk downhill to Harbour Hotel (we recommend the food) and the beach (allows dogs all yr round at the far end, you’ll see a map), 4min to Stag Inn, 5min to 2x high street cafes (both were good), a Morrisons Daily & pharmacy. Remember it’s back up hill to return. Easily fits 3x cars on the drive. Bathroom fittings and decor are modern & clean, powerful hot showers, could have done with more than one bath towel per person and more than one toilet roll per bathroom, but we did only stay for 3x nights. Bedrooms 1x ground floor + 3x 1st floor all very tastefully furnished with firm comfortable beds. Open plan lounge, diner (seats 8x) kitchen perfect for a big group, for some peace alone there's a lovely quiet sun room. Nice big garden with a decked hot tub area (remember to turn it on in the morning to warm up by the evening). You’ll need to bring beach towels to use after the hot tub. House had everything we needed vacuum, washer, dryer, huge fridge freezer, and some handy things such as cling film, tin foil, hand wash, washing up scourer, dishcloth, washing up liquid, a small supply of coffee, tea, sugar, milk. The owner kindly rang me on day 2 to see if we were settling in and to explain about a loose toilet seat that she was awaiting replacement of. We met the cleaners as we were leaving, very friendly and even they said they love the house. Would definitely recommend this property, the area is beautiful but quiet, it had enough for us for 3x days. We visited Beaumaris (40min), Penmon Point, Red Wharf Bay, Church Bay, Llandeusant (for amazing doughnuts).
