This is a perfect little cottage for exploring Anglesey and the wider area. It is situated in a beautiful quiet area. The cottage is lovely and clean and is very cosy with the fire lit and the radio on. It was perfect for our dog too, he could get cosy in front on the fire and the garden allowed plenty of sniffing and exploring! Can’t wait to come back!

A mixed review here as there were many positives about the cottage. The decor and kitchen were good with thoughtful inclusions to cooking utensils. It was very clean on arrival and was well equipped. There were previous reviews that mentioned the lack of comfortable chairs and uncomfortable beds and I would support those reviews. It was impossible to find comfort anywhere in this cottage. The two chairs were hard and unforgiving and definitely not for relaxing after a days walking, but the worst was the beds. The very very small double in the master bedroom has an extremely thin, tired mattress that meant a couple would roll into the middle and every slat of the frame can be felt through this. I tried to use the children's bed but the lumpy hard mattresses in that room resulted in a trip to a pharmacy for some anti inflammatory medication as my neck and back were in spasms in the morning. I am writing this on our third night here and we are googling nearby hotels to check into just to get a comfortable nights sleep and will likely leave early to get home. Overall with hindsight, previous reviews have been accurate in discussing the issues that they found. Yes the parking is very tight and yes there are difficulties getting a hot bath with more than a cupful of hot water and the skylight in the kitchen lets in a ridiculous amount of afternoon sun with no ability to shade it, but all this could be acceptable as it is by no means a luxury cottage. There is however no getting around the misery that you feel when you not only cannot get comfortable enough to sleep but struggle with pain and discomfort that comes from lying on the bed. I feel really sad to leave such a negative review as the cottage does have its positives.

Peaceful locale, ideal to relax. Not a luxury cottage but would recommend without hesitation. Stayed 5 nights

Parking at this property is a problem as the photograph and information given leads one to believe that a proper parking space was available.. In fact, the photograph is of the back of the cottage and parking available is on a VERY narrow lane at the front. There is a large gap above the window in the twin bedded room and a consequent cold draught. The two 'armchairs' provided are totally inadequate and uncomfortable after a while. There needs to be at least two comfortable chairs in the living area not two old, small, cane ones as currently provided.

We enjoyed it very much, but that was because there were only two of us.. Two adults and two children would be okay, but I wouldn’t recommend it to four adults to share, that’s why I lowered the ‘accuracy of the listing’ score. Otherwise, for the two of us, it was great.
