Really great cottage, brightened up our weekend despite the horrendous weather we had.. Everything about the property was as we expected. The log burner kept us toasty warm during the storm. Really happy with our mini break and would definitely book this cottage again.

The accommodation was brilliant for our family of 5.. There was plenty of space and the layout made the cottage very easy to be in.
The location is great and close to Cynfal falls which is a lovely walk. A short walk to the village shop and the locals are friendly. A short drive to other attractions in Blaenau Ffestiniog.
We had a great week and will come back again!
The only downside would be the postcode takes you to a house up the road and round the corner. A bit more description on the directions would be good.

The cottage isn’t just immaculate, welcoming, spotlessly clean and perfectly positioned to enjoy all the best Snowdonia has to offer, the owners had left flowers, milk in the fridge, tea bags and coffee, extra blankets, towels and many other considerate touches.. I’ve stayed in plenty of UK holiday cottages, but this one tops them all.
Thank you so very much for helping make our friend’s 50th so memorable. I’ll definitely be back!

A delightful cottage and surroundings, every need was catered for and very helpful information on local eating places, doctors dentists and shops etc provided.. North Wales is a beautiful part of the country and this was an excellent base from which to visit areas of interest and walks. We almost wished it was colder so that we could light the wood burner of an evening, very tempting but not really necessary yet! We had a lovely week at Yr Hen Dy.

The house was a good surprise, and all was well and felt well immediately, except for the kitchen.. That was not totally clean (sticky on the outside of cupboards) and a bit worn out.
The direct surroundings and especially the walk towards the waterfall in the neighborhood was great.

It was pretty much perfect.. The cottage was lovely, had everything we needed, very warm and comfortable. The location was ideal for so many things - beaches, mountains, castles, towns. We had a wonderful holiday and would definitely consider going back there.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottage.. Is in the heart of Snowdonia with plenty of landscapes and the cascade nearby is a must see. The cottage has everything you need and would like to come back in the summertime.
