Y Deri Cottage is a lovely barn conversion which sits in Pontllyfni near Penygroes, Gwynedd, North Wales. It offers one bedroom which hosts a double bed and an en-suite, it can sleep two guests. Its interior also offers an open-plan living area which includes a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area. To the outside, you will find plenty of off-road parking as well as a lawn and a patio with furniture and a hot tub. Y Deri Cottage is a beautifully furnished holiday home providing the perfect spot for couples seeking a getaway by the sea.

Accomodation Details
All-ground-floor. One double bedroom with en-suite bath, shower over, basin and WC (with Jack-and-Jill access to open-plan living space). Open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Hot tub not included in rent. £100 extra charge to be discussed with the owner, she will be in contact.

Area
The friendly village of Penygroes lies on the border of Snowdonia National Park and near the castle town of Caernarfon. Boasting numerous eateries, including the popular Goat, a place showcasing welcoming service, the village is a great place for your next staycation. Penygroes is within easy reach of coastal settlement of Aberdesach, allowing visitors to access the Welsh coast and its extensive walking trail. The bustling towns of Menai Bridge and Bangor aren't far, giving visitors plenty to see and do from this village.

Fabulous stay in Y Deri.. A really well equipped cottage and the hot tub is a welcomed bonus at the end of a days walking. The cottage is well situated with lots of activities within a short drive away.

Can’t recommend this place enough.. Beautiful location, friendly owner and gorgeous property. Immaculately clean and felt like a home from home. The hot tub was a fabulous touch. We went for New Years and there was a Christmas tree in the property which was such a lovely touch. Would definitely return. The location is brilliant and really pretty. If your looking for a peaceful escape but with the option of plenty to see and do locally this is definitely the place for you. It’s a short drive to snowdon which is fantastic.

We stayed here over Christmas.. We had a wonderful time. Nesta and husband were very warm and welcoming, showed us how everything worked. She also left us lovely little treats Prosecco and goodies. The hot tub was amazing. The barn is situated in an ideal spot, very peaceful and near to lovely beaches. We would definitely recommend this barn and we will definitely be back again made our Christmas special.

A little bit of luxury on the edge of Snowdonia.. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner Nesta. She met us on arrival and showed us round explaining how everything works including the hot tub controls. Little extras like the welcoming gifts of some Prosecco, Welsh cake and flowers made it feel extra special. The accommodation was good quality and very comfortable. The views of the sea in one direction and the mountains in the other were breathtaking. Would wholeheartedly recommended this as a base to explore the north west of Wales.

Y Deri cottage was beautiful in a stunning setting.. Well situated in north Wales with stunning scenery all around. The cottage has everything you need and you will get a lovely welcome from Nesta and her family who made sure we had a very comfortable break away. The hot tub is fantastic, relaxing in the evening with some prosecco and star gazing was awesome. Highly recommend this great little find!!

Y Deri Cottage exceeded our expectations from the start, a very warm welcome from the owner Nesta who greeted us with some local fruit loaf and some bubbles a great start to the holiday.. The cottage itself has everything you could possibly need and all amenities are of good quality. The views from the cottage are beautiful we where lucky enough to see a couple of sunsets over the sea whilst chilling with a drink in the very nice hot tub. The location of the cottage is perfect it is enough out the way to make you feel you are somewhere remote however not far drive from tourist areas. Walking is an option to discover the area and the local beach. What makes this place more special is the lovely owners who can not do enough for you, it was also a pleasure seeing the beautiful horses they breed in the fields next to the cottage. We will be returning.

A lovely cottage ran by a really friendly couple.. The cottage was extreamly tidy and had all the facilities you would need while away. Nicely decorated throughout and comfy living space. Y Deri cottage exceeded our expectations with the spectacular views you have from your window, many nights we watched the sun set over the sea while enjoying a drink in the hot tub also with a large amount of land to explore. Very good location, 5 minute drive to Trefor beach and only 45 minutes away from Snowdon.
