Trem Y Mor was everything we hoped for.. We know the area very well and have spent many holidays there over many years, having stayed in caravan, hotel and cottage. But we feel Trem y Mor is the best so far. It was even fun finding the bathroom at night, in the dark. So many doors! Many thanks for a great week.

House owners were easily contactable and very helpful.. Fabulous views and a lovely home to stay in for the week. It had everything we needed for a comfortable holiday.

It claimed stunning views of the bay and that was certainly correct.. One problem was that the owner lives in Market Harborough and was not readily available to deal with problems. On arrival there was no hot water and the owner controls this remotely. We rang the three telephone numbers that the owner provides for problems and in all three cases had to leave a message. The recorded answer machine promised they would ring us straight back but this did not happen and I had to ring Sykes Cottages on the Sunday morning to get a response from the owners. So we were without hot water from our arrival on Saturday afternoon until Sunday morning. On Monday morning we woke to find that all the electricity sockets were dead. Being an electrical engineer I was able to deal with this and found that the RCD circuit breaker in the main supply had tripped out. Reclosing it restored the electricity supply to the sockets. So in this case I had no need to contact the owner, others may not have the knowledge. The owner needs to be more readily available, particularly at the time when the customers are arriving and getting to know the place.

The house was well equipped with all the essentials and in an excellent location for exploring the area.. We especially loved the view from the sun lounge and watching the weather change! It felt very homely and was a good place to unwind and relax.

The place was far larger than it appears from the pictures.. Lots of space for our big family. The view was to die for. The house was very clean and tidy, and well looked after. We really enjoyed our stay here, and would book again. This is a very quiet location, but within easy reach of lots of places to take the children. We loved it here.

Trem Y Mor is in a wonderful location and the views from the front sunroom are breath taking. The house has everything one would need for a pleasant visit to the area. The hiking out the back door also affords spectacular views and gives one a chance to meet the local cows!

An excellent location, a very quiet road but within walking distance (15 mins) of the shops & facilities in Harlech. Within easy reach of the mountains of Snowdonia & only a fairly short drive to Barmouth. Great sea view. Well appointed & very comfortable. Parking directly outside of property with no problems for us but the driveway may be a little steep for people with walking disabilities.

We chose Trem y mor as it was the only property available that would meet our needs. We were wrong in thinking it would be surrounded by other bungalow. We were charmed by the tasteful and comfortable accomodation, its fabulous hilltop location and the quite fantastic uninterupted 180 degree views. We had a great holiday. Thank you for letting us share in your lovely holiday home, hopefully we will return soon. The beds were very comfortable and your generosity in loaning maps and other amenities much appreciated especially the unexpected convenience of the second loo.

There are some beautiful beaches down the road and within easy reach. The neighbours were lovely and helpful also. Thank you

The accommodation is superb with everything catered for in a home away from home. The property is ideally placed for visiting many surrounding attractions and after spending the days away, we loved spending the evenings on the beach which is close by.

A cottage with all our requirements.. We're an "old" couple in our 70s with 2 dogs. No stairs (very good for my husband) and well enclosed garden for our dogs. The beach is not too far. It was warm and sunny, an indian summer. There were plenty of towels etc and the beds were comfortable.

The bungalow was lovely and clean and comfortable although our dog didn't like the laminate flooring as his legs splayed! Weather was awful (torrential rain and gale force winds almost non-stop from arrival) so only one day we could actually see the beautiful view. We left on the Thursday instead of staying the full week but that was no reflection on the bungalow at all, really was home from home with all the white goods readily available. Overall would like to re-visit one day if only we could guarantee the weather!!
