We visited for a weekend break and were not disappointed at all. The accommodation was spacious, clean and comfortable and well equipped, could not ask for more. The views were the best we have ever seen, pictures do not do it justice. An amazing time was had by all and would definitely return and reccomend. Perfect stay, thank you.

The views from the house are stunning.. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook meals. There were plenty of towels and they even left a bottle of wine! for us.

The pictures don't do it justice.. The villa is situated in an ideal location, with the castle and the steepest street in the world literally down the road. The view from the living room and upstairs bedroom is breathtaking! And Harlech beach is one of best beaches we have been to, miles of sandy shore. The owner responded very promptly to all my inquiries and the neighbours are extremely friendly and helpful. All in all we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this property.

Feedback Great accommodation.. .....everything we could possibly need was available. The rooms were all bigger than they appeared on the photos, furnished with lovely chunky rustic wooden furniture, including the comfy beds. Wonderful views of the sea and castle from the lounge and two biggest bedrooms. Great dog safe fenced patio area accessed from the back door......the garden would have been safe too if our dogs were bigger. Note for the owners I appreciate our holiday was at the end of the season and it was a big house to 'turn around' between bookings, but the cleanliness is our only negative comment. Looking at the en-suite we joked that the cleaner must be about 4ft 11inches tall because you could actually see how high up the cleaning had been done! This is meant as constructive criticism as cleaners must be being paid and I feel they could be doing a better job for you.

Location beautiful, house beautiful.. Cannot describe how steep the hill is to gain access to the house, (not for the faint hearted). Neighbour to the property very nice. We managed to fit 4 adults and 5 children in very easily. Harlech itself is perfect but not ideal for pushchairs or wheel chairs as we couldn't find a footpath anywhere and hills very steep. Within 1 hour of all snowdonia attractions. All of which we thoroughly enjoyed. Property has the most wonderful view as well.

The Villa was a brilliant base for a lovely family holiday.. The house coped wonderfully with 6 adults and 2 children. There was always hot water when we needed it and the big cooker/oven made cooking for everyone a breeze. The views of the castle and out to sea are truly spectacular, something you could never tire of. Harlech itself has enough little shops & cafés to keep you comfortable and the house is equidistant between Barmouth & Porthmadog when you need more. All in all a brilliant holiday home in a great location.

Amazing views from garden across to the castle and the sea beyond.. Agree with another review that garden chairs would make a big difference but otherwise everything we needed.

A tremendous view from the garden but the access road to the house was too steep and a major problem.. Almost burned out clutch on the car when meeting oncoming traffic and no passing place. Also at our age, it was too steep to walk up. It was only on receipt of the final instructions giving the location of the house that we realised there could be a problem.

The glasses and pots were disgusting.. Had dried food on them like bad stacking in a dishwasher leaves. Curtains in bedroom were hanging off and grill didnt work. However we loved this house. Perfect location and v comfy. Nice touch to leave wine, cakes and milk for when we arrived. Will definitely return soon.

An exceptionally good holiday was had particularly as the week we were there Wales bathed in hot sunshine.. A rare thing indeed. I would make it clear to potential clients that being you are located on top of a steep hill where superb views are afforded, this does mean anyone hiring this villa and taking their car should realise that it can be a tricky and even nervy time reaching the property from the foot of the castle hill. The last stretch in particular where the road is narrow, corners are sharp and the gradient very steep.

The Villa is in a superb location and Harlech is a lovely, picturesque, small yet busy town. The scenery around the area and the views were stunning; there are wonderful beaches both at Harlech and further down the coast.

Enjoyed our weeks stay here in May. Great views and sunsets across the sea to the Lleyn peninsular and over the castle. Steep drive and walk up tot he house from the main road, no problem for us but some may find it hard work. 20 minutes walk to the beach. Would have been nice to have a bit more comfortable garden furniture to enjoy the views. Refurbished nicely but missing a few finishing touches, somewhere for the shower gel etc in the showers would have helped. Shower / bath rooms pretty small but did the job. We all found the beds uncomfortable, much too soft for us, bad back all week! But that's probably personal choice Great views from most rooms, Wi-Fi was intermittent upstairs

Fantastic house with amazing views.. The pictures do not do this house or the views justice. The house had everything you could think of to make your stay a very good one. Very clean and the location was great. Close to visit the local area and the beaches were beautiful. Dog friendly and the next door neighbour was a lovely guy. The local people were very friendly and I would highly recommend the villa.

The location was great in the middle of Harlech. The house was very clean and tidy and had a superb view, even with the crane! Having 3 toilets was great. All very nice, we would go again, in fact already looked for a week in July, but unfortunately it has already been booked - you will have to be quick for a nice house like this one.

What a fantastic place. The house was very well equipped and everything was very well thought out. The views are to die for and the pictures don't do justice to the views. The house was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Everything was very good quality and I can't rate this property highly enough. We took our dog and he loved it too. There are so many days out from this property and the area is stunning. The neighbour was very welcoming and waved us off every morning when we went out . Will be booking again and if you get the weather you don't need to go abroad. Loved it all !!!!

Lovely villa and area, we were here over new years for five days. Six adults, two babies and two dogs with plenty of room. There is a great little pub located a few minutes walk away with brilliant place to eat out as well. The pictures do not do the villa justice, brilliant place to stay!

This beautiful property is up a fairly steep hill from the lovely village of Harlech, hence the fitness requirement - it's very good for the calf muscles, but would be a bit of a pain if you had to get the car out every time you wanted a pint of milk. The amenities are splendid, the garden/patio area lovely for sitting out - you can find a sunny spot all day, and the views across to Porthmadog and Criccieth are wonderful - even the odd rainy day has its points of interest. The local pub does good, reasonably priced food and the locals are very friendly - we were lucky to have a group of travelling musicians roll up one night and a great time was had by all. We'd definitely hope to visit again.

The cottage was wonderful. The villa has a lovely situation at the top of a hill overlooking Harlech Castle and the shoreline, was lovely waking up to that each day. We couldn't have asked for better accommodation or a better holiday!

This house was absolutely lovely. It is in walking distance from the lovely town and castle, excellent restaurants and friendly neighbours. The beach is huge, sandy and deserted, with the mountains in the background. The beach slopes very gently so seemed quite safe and half is dog free the other half dog friendly, so ideal for both. Would thoroughly recommend.

The Villa was ideally placed to enjoy a variety of activities for adults and children: local walking, cycling, driving through Snowdonia, beaches, outdoor dining and of course the Castle. Although it was not part of the package, we were delighted with the weather - sunshine every day and not a drop of rain all week. All in all, a most enjoyable holiday.

We can not fault this accommodation. Beautifully decorated and furnished, extremely spacious and everything you could possibly need is provided. As for the views, I don't think you could get better! From the large picture window in the lounge you can see Harlech castle (particularly beautiful when it is lit up at night) and right across the bay to Criccieth. You are within walking distance of a pub, some beautiful little shops - the icecream shop and tea shop in the courtyard are unmissable! There is a bit of a "heart in mouth" drive up the narrow lane to the property but it is worth it and certainly wouldn't put us off visiting again.,

The views from the Villa were amazing, especially from the lounge area which overlooked the castle, the beach, the bay and across the bay to Criccieth.. The accommodation itself could not be improved. All the rooms were beautifully furnished, and it had a perfect location, with shops, cafes, restaurants and a pub all within walking distance.

The views from the property are spectacular. The property is in close proximity to Harlech town centre, where we found some lovely restaurants and cafe's. The beach nearby is huge, you would need at least a couple of hours to walk the length of it, so great for lively dogs and children!
