It offers great walks, has a charming riverbank setting with a chapel built in the sixteenth century, a welcoming pub, and a variety of wild flowers and birds that frequent the area's protected beaches and rock pools. Take a ride on the neighbouring small gauge railroad from Fairbourne's lovely sandy beach to Barmouth's expansive sand dunes. Within a short drive, explore the well-known towns of Tywyn, Dolgellau, and Aberdovey, as well as the majestic sites of ancient Harlech Castle and the Snowdonia National Park.
