A wonderful house to spend the week with the whole family(8 adults, 3children and a baby).. Lots of room and the kitchen was very well equipped. The hot tub was a big hit. BUT I checked twice with Sykes cottages that there would be a cot there, once by phone and once by online chat and I was assured there would be. We arrived just as the owner did. He had noticed that we had a baby in our party and thought it strange that a cot hadn't been requested. Fortunately he was there to unlock the store room and get the cot out for us. Thanks so much Scott and Sykes Cottages please note that you have to inform the owner that a cot is needed.

Cae Cerrig is a lovely property, extremely comfortable and well appointed with a parking area which is large enough to accommodate 6 vehicles .. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. It is in an excellent location with beautiful views across Cardigan Bay and over to the LLeyn Peninsular and well placed for exploring North and Mid Wales. We received a lovely welcome from the owner who popped in shortly after our arrival to make sure all was to our satisfaction, in addition to providing (very much appreciated) welcome gifts including wine, chocolates and a selection of biscuits. We all had a great time and would highly recommend it.

I don't feel that the pictures do this property justice.. The day we arrived, the owner came to welcome us & showed us where things were. Before arrival the owners saw a young infant on the booking form & they made sure that the travel cot was ready & had purchased a brand new duvet set. This attention to detail & many other additional extras, such as; books, toys, dvds, lots of kitchen essentials & a friendly welcome helped to make our holiday that much more special.

The house was spacious and well equipped and everything was of a high quality.. Externally the terrace at the back of the house was well laid out with BBQ and hot tub and plenty of seating. There was ample parking and a large garage where we were able to store our bikes. The views of the sea and the mountains from the house were stunning. It was about a mile walk to the beach down quiet lanes. Shops and pubs were close by.
