The location is very rural and quiet with fantastic views.. We were welcomed on arrival by very friendly hosts. This is a very child-friendly place to stay as there is a play area and various outdoor toys are provided. The hosts have thought of everything, the accommodation was spotless, wish we had been able to stay for longer!

The location is excellent and the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners was first class.. Friendly but not overbearing is a hard line to achieve and they did it. We were even lent a blender to do our soup with.
The facilities were brilliant and the underfloor heating was a blessing when coming in from a brisk, windy walk.
We wanted for nothing and having towels supplied was great.
The children really enjoyed being on the park and the adults loved ...
The silence. No sounds except for birds, sheep and the occasional dog bark. Coming from a city when you can hear traffic all the time it was a Godsend.
Our only cons:
The mezzanine floor is lovely, but we would recommend at least a heavy pair of curtains over it. Our boys had this room and they struggled to a- get to sleep and b- we woken by the light in the morning.
Perhaps some new mattresses would be good... I din't struggle personally, but my daughter in the downstairs bedroom found it a little lumpy.
