I repeatedly tried to contact Sykes to reschedule this holiday as the function to do this online was unavailable.. The reason for needing to reschedule was because I was diagnosed with cancer and the surgery was planned for the 28th July which was during the holiday dates. It was impossible to get through on the phone and emails were answered weeks too late. In the end I gave up trying. The service from Sykes has been appalling and I will never book with you again.

I stayed here for Easter break with friends . I was not the person who booked the cottage I was just part of the party of 7. We loved it as great location for walking in the Snowdonia national park and also we visited Anglesey and we did 3 parks within Zip World particularly we did Velocity 2 the highest , fastest Zip world in the Northern hemisphere which was fantastic . The rooms in the cottage were lovely and clean and great views from the upstairs bedrooms. The kitchen was lovely and we ate in every night and shared the cooking and the table fitted 7 of us easily. Would recommend this place and was affordable . Go for it as this part of world is stunning and we had fantastic weather .

Cottage was as described and spotlessly clean.. It was great that we could all eat together at the large dining table. Could have done with more toilet paper.

December 2018
This is the second time we have been and it does exactly what it says on the tin.. It is fairly cosy, and enough equipment to cook up a feast for a large family. It is located well for short drives to attractions but there is nothing really in walking distance. It is becoming slightly worn in places and could do with a little bit of TLC. We had issues with the internet connection when we stayed last time and enquired before we arrived as to whether it had improved. However the internet connection was terrible and not online most of the time. The place could do with a deep clean in the kitchen areas But overall it was clean and tidy.

The cottage is a good distance from Y Felinheli where the local shops are situated.. Property is spacious and well designed although the smaller bedrooms did not have any space for a wardrobe to hang clothes up. Even hooks on the bedroom doors would have helped. House is situated on a rat run and traffic is busy any time with people taking short cuts at speed. This property has two off road parking spaces in front. The road is narrow and cars have to park in front of other residences so there is only room for single vehicles to pass. There can be a queue on bin day or when oil is delivered. This should be made very clear to families with small children that they should take extra care outside the front door. Nice little secure courtyard at the back - pity we could not have a BBQ due to the wet weather. There were not enough toilet rolls for no. of occupants (one toilet had none) so had to phone a family member to buy some on their journey to the house. We were told by owner that cleaner had run out!! Glad we did not arrive late evening. There are plenty of places to visit in the area. Our family visited Caernarfon Castle, Velocity Zip Wire (for a 40th birthday) at Zip World, Bethesda and Fforest Coaster at Zip World FForest, Betws y Coed.

3 toilets, one didn't work.. Dripping tap in kitchen. Kitchen very dark for food preparation. However, house was clean and comfortable. You will need transport for this house as it is isolated. Nearest shop over a mile away. First house/cottage we've stayed in that didn't have basic condiments available (ie., salt, pepper , etc).

We were pleased we were able to book the holiday for when we wanted to go rather than being told we had to go when the booking company said.. The house was perfect for our needs. It could accommodate all of us and was in the right location. The house had all that we needed - and more! If I could make one suggestion it would be to provide more space for drying towels. There are towel rails but these were not enough for the full house we had. It's a minor point but I'm sure may help people in the future.

May 2018
Really great holiday home for party of 7.. Very spacious throughout. Parking fine for two cars - one of which was a sizeable four wheel drive. Wonderful views of the mountains. Probably not great for very small children as there is open frontage to a road which seems to be the main way through the village, but not a problem for us. Pity there is not a bit more of a garden as the weather was wonderful and we might have sat outside, however, these are minor issues, and overall this was a terrific place to stay, very close to lots of wonderful places and would not hesitate in going here again.
Mr Richmond

The house was well appointed and cosy.. A great house for two families to share. Parking is for two cars but requires some manoeuvring!

The location of Bryn Seion is excellent to explore Snowdonia - on a quiet country lane surrounded by animals, perfect for a week of tranquillity. The house was surprisingly spacious for the 7 of us who stayed there, would definitely return again one day.

March 2015
Stayed here for a family party in local area. The house was very clean and comfortable and also warm . We had two grandchildren with us and it was perfect for them with plenty of room for 4 adults and space to entertain the nearly 3 year old when outside activities were limited due to the weather. The cottage provided equipment for the nearly 1 year old as well
Mr Pratt
November 2014
The house was perfect for our needs, it was warm, comfy and very clean. The two grandchildren enjoyed the space and the 8 month old managed, with very close supervision, to make it to the top of the stairs - his equivalent to climbing Snowdon. Would highly recommend to others.
Mr Hopkins
November 2014

March 2014
The property was immaculate and extremely comfortable with plenty of space. The eat-in kitchen was large and sunny, the sitting room very relaxing. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. In fact, it was the nicest property we've ever stayed in. The cottage was in a rural location surrounded by sheep farms, the mountains of Snowdonia formed a beautiful backdrop.
Mrs Davies
February 2014
The property was lovely and exceeded our expectations. We visited Beaumaris in Anglesey and went on to have dinner at the White Eagle - highly recommended. We packed lots into our break! The utensils and crockery were excellent. Thanks for a lovely stay.
