We love the cottage we cannot understand the comments of the guy a couple of reviews down. The cottage is beautifully furnished and all we could expect for the money we paid! We didn’t encounter any problems with the bed, no rogue springs and certainly not damp, There is a shortage of parking spaces, however there is parking to rear of the cottage for a small to medium car. We found the cottage well equipped although the internet is slow due to connection problems there is a mini hub with instructions. The view from the front room up the mountain are beautiful as is the view from the garden. And there is more than enough walking on your doorstep to keep you busy for a month My girl friend and I loved it and may return next year for a long weekend ..

I booked this cottage via sykes cottages who then removed my review. This has made me feel like they cherry pick reviews making them very biased. Bad points Bed had spring poking through. difficult parking as no spaces a bit of a parking war. cottage for 4 people but only comfy seating for 3 people. settee was not comfy extra pillows placed to try and stop you from sinking uncomfortable into it. felt damp you could feel this after sitting for a short period made clothes damp. due to parking problems and un comfy beds cut are stay short. good points. great area.

This was my first visit to Wales, and it was so cold, the cottage is very warm and welcoming the furniture was very comfortable and traditional it made evenings in watching TV a delight. The bedrooms were so cosy and the main bedroom had a smart TV and did the living room. The KItchen was very well equipped and the bathroom small but that was not a problem. My little boy loved the garden it is safe and secure and I had no problems with his security. The nieghbours were very friendly and we had a lovely welcome back to ease us into the cottage. The TV downstairs was a little complicated but it has Freeview and Netflix. Which please my little boy. We didnt venture to far as we are not really walkers but the scenery surrounding the cottage was beautiful. I would recommend this cottage to all...

My girlfriend and I stayed at this delightful cottage, we had a fantastic time just as the scenery is changing. The cottage is cosy warm and inviting, do not heed what other have written I found the place nothing but charming. There is Netflix and a smart TV and one of them is 3D. The beds were hard but comfortable and the house was spotlessly clean. One small critisism is that the numbers on the stove have been cleaned off, but thats because its stainless steel. The garden ios small, but we didnt get to enjoy that too much because the cold has set in. Superb view over the Meolwyns all in a ll a quiet lovely warm and cosy little cottage...

Had a lovely break at Bryn Eithin, only a few small niggles about the property (no markings on oven to show settings/temperatures so had to Google make and model, no plastic chopping boards and only one oven tray).. There was an odd sort of damp feeling in the kitchen though and an odd smell in the cupboards. Parking at front of property not always possible, parking in rear tight for a medium sized family car. Other than that property was lovely and as described, pleasantly surprised by the smart TV and Blu Ray player. Would highly recommend a trip to Beddgelert and the Llechwedd Slate Caverns when visiting, both are close by.

A lovely, homely cottage with wonderful views of the mountains around Ffestiniog.. All as described in a great location to explore North Wales. My only criticism is that that there are no wardrobes in the property which I think are necessary. I would recommend exchanging one of the many drawer units for at least one wardrobe to allow for storage of shirts, dresses, jackets etc. Bounce below and llechwedd slate mine tour, both highly recommended are 5 minutes away. Betws y coed, Porthmadog, Beddgelert and Snowdonia are all a short drive away. A wonderful experience was had by all!

We were slightly disappointed in the cottage and also where it was situated.. Blaenau is not a very hospitable place in terms of a good restaurant or a nice pub so there was nowhere to go out in the evening. As for the cottage itself. There was no toilet roll in the bathroom (luckily my friend had brought one with her). There were no bath towels left out, just 4 small hand towels. Luckily we found some bath towels, with the price still on, in a drawer in the back bedroom. There was no hanging space anywhere for clothes so they had to be kept in drawers or in our suitcases. The beds were very comfortable. Luckily we had great weather the week we were there which enabled us to be out every day. We would try another Sykes cottage again however.

This was our second stay at BRYN EITHIN and it met all our needs and expectations once again. A very relaxing cottage equipped with all that you need to be comfortable. " Beautiful Snowdonia" mountains, lakes, waterfalls and some great walks, there is plenty to do for everyone. We also found that you can get a great driving experience pretty much every time you go out. We would recommend this cottage and find it hard to fault anything. A fantastic visit. 10/10

What a wonderful location - mountain views from the sofa (except when the mist is down!) On occasion we saw little mountain ponies on the slopes. A short drive to forests, waterfalls, gushing rivers and not too far to drive to beaches eg. Harlech in one direction (the Castle is great too) or Colwyn bay if you go North and go further. You can literally walk from the back door, up to the end of the street and over a stile and you are off through beautiful scenery. Or driving takes you through different scenery in different directions. The place was wonderfully clean, in a wonderful state of decoration, and fully stocked with crockery and pans of a surprisingly high standard. There were even some old DVDs in a drawer which we enjoyed watching! (You can watch Netflix if you are a member and there is WIFI, although I turned it off at night- some of you may be glad to know that is possible to do.) One of the comments in the visitor's book was how great it was to stay close to the zipwire activities. We didn't try that! But we did go and see the surfing Lagoon at surfsnowdownia in Dolgarrog.

The cottage is beautifully furnished, homely and cosy for those long winters nights, it really feels like a home from home. There is a wide screen HD 3D TV with Netflix. The internet connection is excellent. The view to the front and rear of the cottage is beautiful. The kitchen is well equipped. The beds are really comfortable, the only criticism is that the second bedroom is small, although there is a queen size bed. There is secure off road parking at the rear of the property for a medium size car. There is so much on the doorstep to do almost too much. So much history on the doorstep. We loved our stay here. Despite the cold weather.
