6 Smithfield Lane is a mid-terrace cottage resting within the town of Dolgellau. In here, you will find two bedrooms which can sleep up to four guests. There is also a ground floor shower room, complete with a walk-in shower, basin and WC. Additional rooms include a sitting room with an electric fire and a kitchen within a dining area. Outside, there is off-road parking and a rear enclosed garden with table and chairs. 6 Smithfield Lane is a charming property, perfect for exploring North Wales. One large dog, or two small dogs welcome (£20 per pet per stay), but please do not take your pet upstairs. Please let Sykes Cottage know if you are bringing a pet. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub within a 1-minute walk. Note: Parking permit for parking 400 yards supplied by owner kept in information folder. Also roadside parking is available in adjacent streets subject to times displayed.

Area
Resting within the Snowdonia National Park, is this market town of Dolgellau. Within this town you will find a wealth of restaurants, pubs, a wine bar, shops and bakeries. It is a superb base for outdoor pursuits, with Cader Idris and the sandy beach of Barmouth close by. Also close by is the Coed y Brenin mountain bike trail as well as superb scenery, mountains, forests, waterfalls, castles and beaches all close to explore.

Parking is not easy,got a ticket first night there! Parked in the carpark reccomended showing voucher. Make sure you read the instructions carefully....

Really pleasantly presented cottage in an ideal location to enjoy cycling the traffic free trail, Dolgellau to Barmouth and the nearby Mecca for bikey off roaders, Coed de Brenin.. Freshly refurbished, clean and bright with everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare modest meals, good central heating, exceptionally comfortable beds with spotlessly clean linen and towels provided. We were warned, there is no on or off street car parking, simply because this is a tiny cottage in a tiny street! We were able to park briefly in the next street to offload and pack up the car, but then used the Long Stay car park in the town, at £7.50 for 24 hours, each day. We were there over a bank holiday, but the reuse there would be a good choice of nearby shops etc. We ourselves have provided self catering accommodation in Bath and know from experience how much effort goes into providing all this, so thank you very much, well done!
