Explore further and you’ll find a private lake with views across the valley, perfect for a spot of fishing and a picnic and keep an eye out for the resident geese and Soay sheep.
The Honey Pot is a lovely detached stone bungalow that’s been designed with a clean country style and has bags of charm.
You could easily spend a break here without ever needing to leave the grounds, but if a day’s exploration is on the cards you have the historic town of Criccieth with its castle and beaches, the shops and heritage railway of Porthmadog and the Snowdonia National Park all just a short drive away.
If you need a little extra space, The Little Coach House is also available in the grounds sleeping a further two.
Accomodation Details Two bedrooms: 1 x double ensuire, 1 x twin ensuite. Double ensuite bath with shower attachment, WC and basin. Twin ensuite with shower, WC and basin. Open plan kitchen, dining and sitting area with electric fire.
Area Pretty little hamlet known locally as Garn, on the outskirts of Porthmadog, a short drive away. Enjoy lovely views over the mountains and Cwm Pennant. At Porthmadog enjoy a good selection of shops and cafes or take a ride on the Highland Steam Train. Or pop along to Criccieth and enjoy its lovely beaches and castle.
Amenities Central heating with electric fire. Electric oven and hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, coffee machine. TV, DVD, WiFi. Bed linen and towels provided. Ample off road parking. Enclosed paved seating area in addition to 14 acres of shared grounds with gardens, summer house, lake. Up to two well-behaved dogs are most welcome (with £20 surcharge for second dog), however please note that dogs are not allowed in bedrooms unless sleeping in a dog crate. Also, dogs must be on a lead outside of the cottage courtyard due to the proximity of livestock. Pubs, shops and restaurants 4.5 miles.
