Positive - We had a lovely holiday, the views from the property were amazing and we really enjoyed watching the cows in the field, especially when they came up to the windows and the outside area.. The property had most facilities, some were removed because of covid - which is understandable. It was very quiet and peaceful, a short walk to Abersoch (my 7 year old walked fine without complaining) Negative - We felt the cottage could of been cleaned a little more, there were cobwebs on the ceiling, it was quite dusty in places, the windows had not been cleaned. Also my son dropped a dice down the cracks in the sofa, when we reached it out lots of crumbs came out (a peanut which we don’t eat so it was from someone else). The beds were comfy enough but we found the mattress on the single beds were too small, I had to wedge a pillow at the bottom to stop it moving about. Also one of the beds was broken underneath so had to be really careful when turning in bed.

The holiday cottage met our expectations and was set in a beautiful location but the standard of the pre holiday clean was extremely poor.. There was dust and cobwebs everywhere. Layers of grease on the kitchen table, lounge table and work tops. Tomato sauce on the legs of the kitchen table. Deposits of food left in the oven trays and outdoor bbq. Odd numbers of cutlery and cracked plates left in the kitchen cupboards.

Had a lovely weekend at this cottage, it was very clean and tidy and cosy and warm when we arrived.. Peaceful and quiet with wonderful scenery. We especially loved the little lambs skipping about in the next field There's just one thing I'd ask for, any chance of putting up hooks in bathroom as we had nowhere to hang our clothes when having showers Would recommended this cottage to others

10 minute walk from Abersoch, but far enough to be a quiet location. More spacious than the pictures suggest, loads of room for family of 4/5. Adjoins farm fields, so you have a fantastic outlook, and there's a nice outside seating area with BBQ and table/chairs. Modern kitchen, plus it has Sky TV, and DVD player if the weather turns bad !. I booked through Sykes cottages, who dealt with the transactions, but the owner contacted me to provide the 'welcome' information etc.. Over all good experience, I'd recommend.

The cottage was great, in a lovely setting overlooking open fields.. The cottage was very spacious. There was plenty of space to park and sit out front or back with a table and BBQ there. Felt very much home from home. It was lovely and quiet tucked up at the top of Abersoch, but with an easy and expected 15 minute walk to the village, the beach and a similar walk to Llanengan. The fact there was no Wifi didn't bother us at all, even though we had teenagers. Getting out and about was far more important. The only niggle we had was the smell from the fridge which subsided after we cleaned it. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back. Thanks

Excellent Holiday Accommodation in converted barn that was much bigger than we expected from the listing photographs.. Superb location with easy walking downhill into Abersoch and an even closer Spa supermarket. Lovely countryside surrounding the private front and rear gardens with cows and sheep just over the fence. Panoramic views of Snowdonia and the sea when walking down the lane into the village. Would definitely recommend and love to return one day.

We needed accommodation for a wedding in Llanegan and this was a great location, only 15 mins walk from the village (same to Abersoch in other direction). Property was very clean and well equipped with stunning views of the beautiful countryside and lots of sheep and cows as direct neighbours. There is a single and twin bedroom next to the entrance, with a good bathroom. Up some stairs is the very spacious kitchen, and lounge. Stairs lead up to the double master bedroom, though it is a shame they could not have squeezed in an en-suite or WC as it is a bit of a traipse down to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Please note that phone signal is challenging in this part of rural Wales. It was a shame there was no internet in the cottage as we struggled to communicate with the rest of the wedding guests. We also found it odd that bed linen was provided, but no towels. This is a stunning part of the UK and Sian was a great host for this lovely building which has been sympathetically resorted from former farm buildings.

The cottage was the perfect spot for our first family holiday. It is only a 15 minute walk into Abersoch downhill. The surrounding countryside is beautiful with lots of easy walks along country lanes. The resident cows and sheep in the field next door were very friendly too! We will definitely be returning in the future and would highly recommend this to families looking for the perfect break.

We've just spent the best week away ever. The cottage is lovely, cosy and compact. Has everything you would need on a self catering holiday. Spotlessly clean and beautifully renovated and equipped. Really peaceful apart from the odd cow and sheep! 10 mins walk into town and same to ask the beaches. We had the best weather of the year and visited all the local areas. Fabulous holiday!

A beautiful cottage which was immaculately clean and in a lovely location. The children enjoyed greeting the cows over the fence every morning and would most definitely stay here again and would recommend it. The location was perfect for us, it was in easy walking distance to the beach and amenities. A beautiful setting.

A great cottage and a great location. The cottage is small, but plenty big enough for our family of four. Set in it's own little Welsh oasis, with fields full of very friendly cows and sheep which the children named and loved! One way it is a 10 minute walk into Abersoch (a little longer on the way back as it is up hill!) and the other way is a 15 minute walk to a great pub called the Sun Inn. Beaches are a 5 minute drive, with Abersoch beach in walking distance. A great holiday had in a fantastic cottage - we will return!

Beautiful cottage and location. The beach is only ten minutes walk, a little hilly for those who struggle with walking but we loved it. The cottage is located on farm land with cows and sheep, the cows would come to the fence which was lovely. The weather was great a little hazey in the morning but soon blew over. Come home with a nice tan as if we had been abroad. Our little boy (3.1/2 yrs) enjoyed every minute of it. We will be returning.

The location of the property was excellent, and was within walking distance of Abersoch and within driving distance of the attractions in Snowdonia and the Llyn Peninsula. It was quiet and peaceful, making for a relaxing holiday. The amenities were excellent, and given the seasonal weather it was warm and comfortable.

This excellent cottage is just 10 minutes walk from the beach and local shops. It is in a great location on the outskirts of the village with far reaching views and cattle and sheep in the surrounding fields a great location to strike out on foot or on bikes. It has plenty designated parking. Very quiet 24/7. It is well kitted out in a tasteful way with full size comfy beds. The owner was lovely so all in all I would totally recommend this cottage and would go back.

The cottage was set in beautiful surroundings. My 2 year old son particularly liked the fact he could wake up every morning and see sheep and cows from his bedroom window. We loved everything about this holiday, the house was fantastic. The setting was beautiful especially watching the lambs. It was my husband's first time in Abersoch and mine in 28 years, so it was a special trip for us both. It was so enjoyable, it really was. I will be going back there again this year because we enjoyed everything about our holiday.

We stayed at Bwythyn-y-Wennol recently and had the most fantastic family holiday week there. The cottage was beautifully presented in a lovely location, with all the amenities that you could possibly need. We spent three days on the beach which was sandy and very clean and the children loved body-boarding in the waves! Snowdonia is an hours drive away and provides lots of alternative activities to the beach.
