Property Description

This spacious Welsh farmhouse, with its games room and lovely garden with hot tub, is near to North Wales coastline and within easy reach of Holywell, Caerwys and Prestatyn Central Beach, making it the perfect location to enjoy attractions and activities in and around the countryside and along the coast. You ll be located 2.5 miles from Holywell, which is home to the world famous 7th century St Winefride s Holy Well; one of the Seven Wonders of Wales. Enjoy a round of golf at Pennant Park (1.5 miles), go to the local riding school, visit the smallest town in Wales, Caerwys (3 miles) or drive a short distance to the sandy beach at Prestatyn (8.5 miles). It s a walkers paradise with the Wales Coast Path, the Pennant Walk, Offa s Dyke and the Clwydian Range nearby. Visit Mold (13.5 miles) with its street market, annual food festival and Theatr Clwyd, and discover the historic town of Chester with its Roman walls and amphitheatre, as well as the Victorian splendour of Llandudno, with its pier, dry ski slope and theatre. Both towns also offer lots of eateries, shops and attractions and are within 25 miles. Walk into the welcoming hall with its feature fireplace, cocktail table and chairs being the ideal gathering spot for celebrations which leads through to the lounge with comfortable sofas, smart TV and a picture window overlooking the front garden. Walk through the snug, which also has a smart TV and continue your journey into the stylish kitchen/diner with views over the garden. If you decide to eat in, there s plenty of space, and all the equipment you need, to rustle up a meal with local produce purchased from your travels. Perhaps take some inspiration from the cookery books on offer to inspire your palate and design a menu that everyone can enjoy. Once ready, gather around the dining table, the perfect setting for everyone to enjoy time together. Walk through the utility boot room to the handy ground floor wet room. After dinner, retire to the snug with its sofas and wood burner for cosy nights in planning your holiday activities, or alternatively, watch a film in the lounge. For something more energetic, try your skill in the games room with its pool table. When ready for bed, head upstairs where you will find three generous sized lovely bedrooms to choose from, a king size, a zip and link twin (which can be made up as a super king size on request) and a double room. Also on this floor is the family bathroom with shower over bath. The house has three areas to enjoy year round: the front garden with established hedging, the side patio with seating, table and a charcoal BBQ and the attractive rear garden, which is laid mostly to lawn with established trees, shrubs, plants and far reaching views towards the Clwydian Mountains. This is a lovely space to enjoy afternoon tea at the table and chairs, embracing the view and listening to birdsong. For a spot of luxury after a day of walking in the Welsh hills, pop in the bubbling hot tub and enjoy!
