Once you're ready to explore, head to the coast with Prestatyn a short car journey away, home to a selection of amenities, a golden, sandy beach, and a golf club, whilst following the shoreline around will bring you to Rhyl, a bustling seaside resort with plenty of amusements.

Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy hiking through the Kinmel Dunes Local Nature Reserve or travel south to explore the beauty spot of Rhaeadr Dyserth Waterfall, and the hilltop hiking area of Moel Hiraddug.

Heading towards Llandudno, be sure to stop off at the Welsh Mountain Zoo, before enjoying Llandudno's Pier, its North Shore Beach, its abundance of amenities, and the popular Great Orme Mines tour, offering something for all guests.

The quiet village of Gronant is a lovely coastal settlement in Flintshire in close distance to Prestatyn. The village itself is home to a local pub, general store, a quaint café, and a few takeaways, as well as the unique Gronant Dunes, a designated Local Nature Reserve and Site of Special Scientific Interest stretching three miles dog-friendly sandy beaches, a nature reserve, and a golf course alongside. There are a range of renowned seaside resorts on the village doorstep including Prestatyn, Rhyl and Towyn, offering fun for all the family throughout traditional seaside amusements, watersports and scenic walking or cycling routes along the coastline.
