Visit the National Trust's Chirk Castle (20.5 miles) or explore Wales' highest waterfall Pistyll Rhaeadr (29 miles). As you walk into the cottage you cannot help but stop and admire the far reaching countryside views. The property is full of charm with exposed beams, feature walls, double height ceilings and interesting artefacts throughout. The kitchen/diner is light and airy creating a lovely space to rustle up a meal, maybe with local produce purchased on your travels.
