A superbly located, detached rustic barn conversion, set in peaceful surroundings amidst lush countryside, close to the River Llugwy, and just four miles from the picturesque village of Betws-y-Coed.

Nested in pretty woodland gardens, this character cottage near Betws-y-Coed is an attractive single-storey barn conversion, finished with a traditional style and cosy furnishings, and boasting high ceilings, exposed oak frame joists and a feature stone wall.

With two comfortable bedrooms, this is a good choice for couples and small families looking to be based in the very heart of the Snowdonia National Park.

This Capel Curig cottage has a lovely open plan living area with a sitting area with cosy woodburner, a traditional fitted kitchen and dining area.

There’s also a double bedroom with a door accessing the gardens and a triple room with bunk beds and a single bed, a great room for younger guests to make their own.

Outside this Capel Curig cottage, the garden wraps round the property, offering a secluded patio with grassy seating areas where you can relax after an enjoyable day exploring the local area or walking one of the many surrounding peaks.

Enjoy the Marin Trail, an exhilarating mountain biking track with swooping climbs and descents in the nearby Gwydyr Forest Park, or visit the spectacular Swallow Falls just a couple of miles away.

The small village of Capel Curig lies at the foothills of the majestic mountain ranges of Moelwynion, Carneddau and Glyderau, complete with outstanding views, and is conveniently set along the A5 under six miles from popular Betws-y-Coed. Within a short drive, Betws-y-Coed is known as the Gateway to Snowdonia, and is one of the most visited inland resorts in North Wales. Surrounded by dense woodland and magnificent mountain scenery, this is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, particularly those looking to wander these wild and beautiful landscapes on foot. At Betws-y-Coed, the River Conwy meets its three tributaries flowing from the west, and the beauty of the area is enhanced by cascading waterfalls, river pools and ancient bridges. There is a selection of shops, pubs, places to eat, a miniature railway, a riverside golf course and the Tree Top Adventure High Ropes Course.
