"Although we had to cut short our holiday."
Just wanted to say cannot recommend this stay enough.superb owners are so helpful with an email arriving explaining how to use property & tips for walks & places to visit.our dogs enjoyed using the doggie blankets supplied.site managers was incredibly helpful & friendly.will definately be back.great location. ,best of both worlds so near the sea and right in the country too.we loved it.don’t be worried about the speed changes either. Google maps hadn’t updated but just minus 10 off any speed showing & you will be okay.it really is not that bad.

"A beautiful lodge with a touch of luxury!"
Really tastefully decorated and thoughtful preparation for guests, there really wasn’t anything that we could have asked for that wasn’t there! We had a real escape and the fact that we could take our dogs made it even more amazing! Tranquil park that the lodge is based in with really easy access to local amenities! We will definitely be returning for another holiday! Thank you

It's open plan, well equipped with everything you would need and spotlessly clean. The site quite and peaceful and set a lovely wooded area close to New Quay. I would have no hesitation in recommending the lodge and certainly returning for another holiday. Just perfect for couples with or without pets.

Large TV's with Freeview and WiFi. Dog friendly with beautiful walks within the area. Very close to the stunning beeches and lots of shops, cafe's and pubs near by.

A real home from home. Location was great for a woodland walk and for exploring the local beaches and towns with our dog Chester. We all loved it.

Situated upon Woodlands Lodge Retreat (formerly Woodlands Park Resort) in Gilfachrheda near Llanarth, Ceredigion is The Shed, a single-storey lodge inviting two guests and two well-behaved dogs.
With access to on-site facilities and a just short distance to the beach, whilst stylishly furnished with state-of-the-art appliances and contemporary interiors, The Shed offers the ideal base for a romantic getaway.
Make use of the on-site car park before reaching your new home-from-home, enjoying a contemporary open-plan living space, where you can relax upon the plush velvet sofa, prepare meals for two, and dine either indoors or outdoors.
The enclosed and furnished front deck provides an idyllic setting for you to relax and enjoy evening drinks while admiring nature and the park's tranquil setting.
Cheers to your getaway or opt for a film night in with the use of a wall-mounted Smart TV before heading to bed in the king-size room.
Upon morning, take advantage of the sleek walk-in shower room before benefiting from the on-site facilities or taking a nature-filled stroll in one of many woodlands, also ideal for your four-legged friends.
Within proximity to The Shed you'll also arrive at New Quay Honey Farm, where you can take part in a beekeeping experience or simply try and purchase some of the local produce, Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre, with the chance to overlook the Bay, or perhaps visit New Quay Harbour where you may be lucky enough to spot colonies of dolphins and seals.
Travelling towards Llandysul, trek through a woodland terrain to reach Penbryn Beach, a golden stretch of sand covering over a mile in length, before joining the coastal path, spanning across Mid Wales.
Further afield towards Aberystwyth, you'll also have the chance to visit Amgueddfa Ceredigion Museum, Aberystwyth Castle Grounds, dating back to 13th century, and aboard the Vale of Rheidol Railway, offering scenic journeys across the county, before heading to Parc Natur Penglais for a delicious picnic, whilst enveloped by wildlife.
