A quieter alternative to some of the bigger resorts such as Aberystwyth, New Quay is a quaint town where colourful Georgian houses line the seafront and visitors have a choice of two splendid beaches, both of which offer plenty of sandy space to relax and play. There is a good choice of shops, cafes, and restaurants in the town, as well as several interesting attractions, including dolphin spotting boat trips, a marine centre, and the Dylan Thomas Trail which allows visitors to follow in the footsteps of Wales best loved poet who once lived in the town.
