Everything you need to make your holiday one to remember.. From the beautiful view of the beach from the lounge to the cleanliness and friendly welcome from the owners. I have stayed in this property 3 times and have already booked my 4th and cannot recommend it highly enough.

Wonderfully placed .. SO cosy and warm despite the stormy weather . A hiccup with the heating was dealt with within 10 minutes .The owners were welcoming and warm hearted. The house had a naturally happy atmosphere. A perfect out of season break.

I think it is our fourth stay.. We love the location and the wonderful sea views. Closeness to a decent shop and a couple of decent pubs are a bonus. Borth is a nice little resort. We have always stayed out of season. I'm not so sure we would like it in full season as we're both nearly 80! For us it has the added advantage of being close to family. Phil is very helpful.

This was the first visit to Wales for half of our party and Trysor y Mor could not have been a more perfect base for us.. Mid April meant we had all seasons in one week, but that didn’t stop us. Coming back to our townhouse every evening and the views it afforded was pure heaven. Ending our week with a very warm 3km walk along Borth promenade was the icing on the cake, and bearing witness to Borth’s famous sunsets was the cherry on that icing!! Previous reviews about the lack of WiFi are either old or unfounded; we had at least three people using it simultaneously without issue. If I were to pick up on any ‘bad’ points; the heating and hot water seemed to have minds of their own and the kitchen area was quite chilly of an evening, but that’s just being a bit picky. If there could be any improvement to the property, perhaps a downstairs loo / shower room in the ‘dead space’ under the stairs. That said, we had the BEST week exploring mid Wales and Philip & Anne could not have been more friendly hosts. Thanks you so much for a stunning introduction to Wales!!

All I can say is that this place is great and for me is 10 out 10. Clean, comfortable and views to die for from the lounge and baclony. Only issue is no WiFi but I can live without that for a great place like this to sit and watch the sea....Will be back again next year.

Great location for family holiday.. Across the road to the beach with great views from the first floor lounge. Extremely friendly owners. Only way to improve experience for some members of the family would be a wifi connection, otherwise as good as it gets.

Ever had that feeling you just need to stop and catch up. Look no further ‘Trysor Y Mor’ treasure of the sea is indeed a treasure of peace. Opposite a long sandy beach and with easy access to the amazing greatness of Welsh nature. Just spent four weeks stopping – perfect. It was great to meet the owners who live near and couldn’t have been more helpful when asked.

Borth is a fabulous place to just stop and catch up with the world.. The house is opposite the beach which is great for running, picnics and walks. The balcony gets the full on sunset and the decking at the back the sunrise. The kitchen was well equipped and there is plenty if space for 6 people. Ann and Philip where both very helpful and made us feel very welcome. We had a great time.

A lovely house in a stunning location next to Borth Beach.. A great base for exploring Mid Wales. The view from the balcony is spectacular, especially if you are lucky enough to have clear skies and sunsets as I was! Phil was very helpful and on hand to help if I needed anything. I'll definitely be back!

The house is absolutely lovely, very cosy and welcoming. The décor is modern, clean and comfortable. The house is very roomy - plus has beautiful views of the sea. Was perfect for 6 people, with enough space to spread out. The house is very well equipped, especially the kitchen. My one regret was that it didn't rain more to have an excuse to laze about.

Clean, bright and well equipped property with a friendly and helpful owner. Fantastic view of the beach and this was helped by the clever renovation of the property.

October 2014
The cottage was fabulous in every way especially the views from the living room and kitchen/diner. The owner who we met twice was very friendly and informative about the local area. We ate out twice in the village of Borth and would definitely recommend the Victoria Inn and the Railway Inn where the food was good and reasonably priced. The cottage was a real home from home!

June 2014
The property was fantastic with the living room situated to take advantage of the panoramic views of Cardigan Bay the majestic Atlantic. The owners were more than hospitable in trying to make our stay as good as it could be, triple thumbs up to them. The village is small but long and the high street very flat, ideal for a nice leisurely stroll. The locals were friendly and helpful from the moment of stepping off the train to the time we regretfully boarded the train home. The public transport is comfortable and reliable.

Excellent location right next to beach, shops etc but a lovely quiet location. The owner was very helpful, will definitely visit again.
Mrs Marsden
June 2014
The view from the sitting room is spectacular. In the evenings we saw; seals, lots of birds, people sailing, canoeing, surfing, children playing in the surf and fantastic sunsets. The Owners are lovely hosts. Borth is a little village with a great feel, everyone was very friendly. There is a pebble beach in Borth which is good for rock pooling but go just along to the next bay and you are in the Dovey Estuary with a sand beach and dunes.
