There are many lovely walks and bike rides to be had in the surrounding countryside of Llanilar, which can be accessible quickly and simply from the centre of the hamlet. Aberystwyth, a lively coastal town with a magnificent museum, shops, restaurants, tea rooms, a promenade, and an 18-hole golf course, is only 6 miles distant. Go back in time on the Vale of Rheidol Railway's narrow-gauge track and take in the breathtaking surroundings at a more relaxed pace. Explore the beautiful waterfalls of Devil's Bridge and the stunning landscapes of the Cambrian Mountains. The scenic Cardigan coastline adds to the appeal of this area as a tourist destination.
